LAAD 2019: TEI showcases its PD170 and TS1400 engines

At LAAD Defense and Security exhibition 2019 that is taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Turkish company TEI is showcasing its latest products, including its TEI-PD170 and TEI-TS1400 engines.

TEI was founded in 1985 and now regroups not less than 2.000 employees working all around the world. The company is specialised in the production of engine parts, the assembly and test of such parts and even the engine design and product development. Being at LAAD 2019 is, according a company spokesman, a great opportunity to take contact with Brazilian and South American defense industry, seeking for partners and suppliers for the providing of auxiliary systems for their engines. It could also be the occasion to take contact with new customers in the South American region.

TEI focuses its activities on three main axes, which are the engine part and module manufacturing (rotating parts, modules, structural parts, ...), engine assembly and test (mainly through its high technology assembly facility), and engine design and product development (such as the TEI-PD170 and the TEI-TS1400 engines).

As part of this third axe, TEI has launched lots of various projects, including the TEI-TJ35 turbojet engine, the TEI-TP38 turboprop engine, the TEI-TJ90 turbojet engine, the TEI-PD170 turbodiesel aviation engine, and the TEI-TS1400 turboshaft engine (these two last engines are both displayed on TEI's booth at LAAD).

The TEI-PD170 turbodiesel aviation engine is an engine designed to be fitted in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and more precisely in medium altitude long endurance (MALE) UAVs such as the Turkish Aerospace Industries' ANKA MALE UAV in which it has been successfully tested on December 27 of 2018. This engine has a high power and a high power/weight ratio. Moreover, this engine does use less fuel when flying at high altitudes. In addition to that, the engine has a compact design and has a power increase potential up to 220+HP.

As for the TEI-TS1400, the engine is a turboshaft engine destined to be used by helicopters. The engine has a service ceiling reaching about 20.000 feat and an output shaft speed of up to 23.000 RPM. The engine is still in its project phase and is scheduled to be ready for production in about one year.

Synthetic biology could create such weapons by design:pathogens designed to weaken, to incapacitate or to kill, and perhaps also to limit themselves to particular types of target. There is real cause for concern here—but not for immediate alarm. For such weaponisation would, like the rest of cutting-edge synthet-ic biology, take highly skilled teams with significant resources.
And armies already have lots of ways to flatten cities and kill people in large numbers. When it comes to mass destruction, a disase is a poor substitute for a nuke. What’s more, today’s synthet-
ic-biology community lives up to ideals of
openness and public service better than many older fields. Maintained and nurtured, that culture should serve as a powerful immune systema gainst rogue elements.

The technology of Derindere M.A. for electricity systems(vehicles) is leading in the world, even ahead of some leading automobile manufacturers thanks to DMA's indigenous technology and also co-operation with Chinese partner (Airforce) as the manager of DMA tells.

The question is why Turkey has still not mass produced it will bring another hard question to answer first.

Thankfully, no techology sale/transfer from DMA to China has taken place, meaining there is still a chance to produce in Turkey.

-They are sending ready to install system to China for 9000 midi bus . They are also negotiating with China regarding 31000 system for 8.1 meter buses .
- They have some project with Turkish military (Turkish submarines. My note its not in the video )
- He claims that they developed the best battery management system in the world.Thanks to their 28 mil. km road data , they will have 200 million km road data in 2 years
- He is extremely smart , cocky and greedy guy . Maybe that's why he is not part of the Turkish national car project . He still leaves the door open for the project.

The future is not EV but hydrogen cars, the amount hydrogen cars getting closer. Japan is the leading county and should work to hydrogen and not EV.

the concept of hydrogen is my favorit I said it earlier years ago.. we have a great basis for this:
a coast for water and wind and sun.. we could create hydrogen but we need a storage system for it, this is the problem.. the hydrogen production could also be the key for better wind and sun energy usage here in germany sometimes the windmills are staying still because the amount of energy is not needed and cant be stored..

Also we need to produce hydrogen from water we could use the wind and solar energy for this.. This would help us to make us more independent

hey that was 2015 ;)

also compressing air and solar power towers.. for renewable energy..

maybe we should make a law that we have to use solar power on the roofs of every tall building
