Bigger battery costs money, space, weight and charge time. I think they did the right thing. For hybrid cars my opinion is the same. Youre able to convert petrol to electricity. No need for bigger battery.I don't know why but im so excited for this EV bus I checked Temsa's website, it seems like they finally updated their website, and put data about Avenue EV.
Battery: 70kWh
Max Motor power: 250kW
Max speed: 80km/h
Charge time: 8-10 minutes
Total Passenger :90
Maximum Mass: 19t
In my opinion, it would be better if it could has 150-200kWh battery power.

Im exited too.
Come on bro, even Tesla S model has 100kWh battery variant, its an automobile. We are talking about one huge bus, extra 1 ton weight and space shouldnt be a problem. Bus shouldnt have range of 50km-70km, but 150+km even for in-city traffic.
I understand you, but i dont agree with this YET. Battery tech is improving. Even with Graphene its getting more efficient and environment friendly. Just not yet but very close, a couple of years later its time to sart going EV fully. Now being and keeping ourselves active in this age is what we need to focus more on.Come on bro, even Tesla S model has 100kWh battery variant, its an automobile. I was thinking to put those chargers in last and first station. So no delay on road will occur.I would love to see a Turkish car brand with an electric engine, however the electric bus seems like its ready for production. They just need a recharging station on every route where the bus can stand for a few minutes longer, maybe at the final station and is ready to move again. This could be a game changer in Turkey.
