TS1400 turboshaft engine of the latest situation

Can someone who understands turbine engines tell the difference from the core engine in the first turbojet mode 1 and a half years ago?

F-135 generates 40000lb, much more powerful than the one Turkiye wants to develop.
F135 engine with a maximum wet thrust of 43,000lbf and a dry thrust of 28,000lbf so I would say TR engine should be pretty powerfull with 29k.

Why akinci have diffrent engine? Are that will lead to logistical nightmare maybe?
The certification of different engines for this aircraft is important not only for resource diversification but also for tailor-made solutions to the needs of different markets. Another reason was the opportunity to invest and partner in Ivchenko's various types of engines through partnerships such as BlackSea Shield.

Important milestones from recent months:

• The first two of the T700-TEI-701D turboshaft engines produced by TEI for T70 General Purpose Helicopter were installed and operated successfully. (Licensed production of GE T700 variant)

• Mass production began in TEI-PD170 turbodiesel engine program to be used in Anka-S Anka-Aksungur and Baykar Akıncı.

• Factory tests of the TEI-TS1400 turboshaft engine that will deliver for TAI-Gökbey utulity helicopter program have been successfully passed.

• According to official statements , first igniting of the MMU's engine will be archieved in 2026-2027 range.

Well they say Gökbey's first flight with TS1400 will be by end 2020?! Is this true?? That would be amazing.

Defence Turkey: In the recent period, you founded a company called TAIS Engine Inc. to supply diesel engines to military ships. Could you please enlighten our readers about the activities you have conducted so far on the engine and the qualified manpower established?

Doğan BEŞCAN: The core team established within TAIS Engine Inc. performs the feasibility studies. The project that will start with medium speed large (6,000-10,000 Kw) diesel main engines will continue with smaller (1,000-2,000 Kw) diesel auxiliary and main engines.

Wow thats 15.000 horsepower. Even TCG-Anadolu can use that. I believe naval engines are easier to develop than land engines. because there is no problem for how big engine is or cooling systems wont be problem like land engines because you are middle of sea/ocean you can use as much as water you want to cool engine
