China will buy (one of) Erdo’s propaganda projects for less than 700$ million while tens of billions are spent every year on feeding Syrians, on filling the pockets of his cronies and tariqats and on luxury for his Sultan greatness.

Instead of the Turkish state to pay those small money and get a control stake over those important infrastructures- that way they can lower the toll taxes and more people will use the infrastructure. That way traffic in Istanbul will improve and the State will win fresh money every year.

But who even thinks about the state when they can fill their pockets instead with some fast, haram money. Instead they will give the bridge, the tunnel and the highway to China to exploit it.

Government unveils major logistics plan
The government has unveiled a Logistics Master Plan, a long-term projection that includes more than $110 billion investments in transportation infrastructure.

The plan is prepared as a result of talks with all shareholders in a bid to turn Turkey into a logistics hub, said Transportation Minister Cahit Turan at a Dec. 25 ceremony at the main train station in Ankara.

“We have to build an exports-focused logistics infrastructure to support a $1 trillion exports goal,” he said.

Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank and Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan also attended the launch of the plan, which sets targets for 2023, 2035 and 2053.

Turkey wants to attract all possible trade routes, including the Chinese initiative of “One Belt, One Road,” which is also known as the modern Silk Road, Turhan said.

“It is estimated that China will pour $1.3 trillion into this project until 2027. As a bridge between Europe and China, we have a geographical advantage. We are in a position that can attract a wide majority of such investments,” he said.

“With the transit corridors passing through Turkey, we will offer our producers advantages that would increase exports.”

The current trade between Europe and China stands at $400 billion a year, the minister noted.

“We as Turkey aim to reach a trade volume of $100 billion with Far East as of 2034.”

Turkey may reach $119B tourism revenue: Report
Turkey can host 104 million tourists as of 2033, says newly released report

ISTANBUL

Turkey may host 104 million tourists and earn $119 billion as of 2033, according to a new report.

The report -- prepared by the Turkish Tourism Investors Association (TTYD) and the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSIAD) -- included scenarios of tourism diversification and increasing tourism revenue per person.

Oya Narin, the head of TTYD, said tourism has the potential to be a driving force for the country's development.

Turkey's tourism revenue can reach $119 billion and the unemployment rate would drop to 7.6%, Narin said, adding the additional tourism revenue can raise the country’s GDP by 1.6 percentage points by 2033.

Simone Kaslowski, the chairman of the TUSIAD, said tourism plays a critical role in reducing foreign trade deficit.

"Our natural and cultural richness, and geographical position create so significant opportunities," he underlined.

Turkey hosted 42.9 million tourists in January-November 2019 period and 39.5 million in 2018.

as nations are becoming more and more developed we will see a different demographic in the coming decades. Think of Latinos,Africans, Asians and maybe with PR attempts also in North America. I think Europeans are similar to Russians with that all inclusive package becaus it's cheap and provides a lot for the money you spend.
