What's new

Turkish Defence Minister also have arrived in Pakistan

Dude t129 will be a huge deal for Turkey if it goes thru especially it was mentioned in erogdan political manifesto.

There is no confirmation about the engines yet. More depend upon US Taliban talks now.
I know they have already have made the deal. And engine blockade was fake news. I am telling you Turkish Minister is not here for T-129. That is done he is here to start something new or some other system they are discussing

.

Its probably about shaping middle east after US exit ... probably they want us to take saudi's onboard on kurds ... this is much bigger than weapon purchase ... weapon purchase deal is normally a slow process and aften under control of one ministery only

.
We're not killing the Kurds, but the PKK militants. Did we ever tell you you're killing Pashtuns? Pay attention to the words you use.

Isn't that obvious what I actually meant ? you are in a defense forum and should comprehend what people meant here. Obviously I was talking about the kurd rebels/pkk militants. Stupid.

36 JF17 in Turkish air-force would be a Symbolic gesture
A self explanatory move

Imagining Turkey / Pakistan / Azerbijan all flying Thunder Variants :flame::flame::flame:
I doubt it , I hope Turkey will be a partner in the development of the new fifth gen plane.

Most of our people live in a false projected reality of things where they are some superior breed, just because they think they are.

We are good and better in many ways than most nations, specially Muslim out there, but we are not the know it alls and sell it alls.
We have things to learn and others have things to learn from us, and that includes Turkey, because no one experience is enough, there is plenty to experiences and exchange of them.

But in the end, thinking one is superior and know it all is where the shit of downfall starts.

And that's for both you and them lol

no i thought it was just some vaccations on the beaches of Gwadar
Pakistan has nuclear weapons, while Turkey doesnt.

I concur, there is no issue on the engine.

I see you are misinformed on many things. Allow me to educate you on the highlighted parts of your post
For example if it wasnt for the US banning Turkey, Pakistan would had been training turkish F-16 pilots
https://en.dailypakistan.com.pk/pak...rom-using-pakistani-pilots-for-f-16-training/
So training is not something exclusive to turkey, there are areas where Turkey required Pakistani assistance.
Similarly
https://www.dawn.com/news/1271025
Selling equipment isnt also exclusive and one sided, Turkey also buys stuff from Pakistan.

Point is Pakistan has diverse experience and Turkey understands that. And so saying that what has Pakistan got to offer etc is being naive.

Off topic but what is your point? there was a lack of pilots due to the purges, Turkey did not ask Pakistan exclusively for training it can hire from any other NATO member or country that uses f16's, so there is nothing "special" about Pakistani pilots (or any nation) that you can not get elsewhere. There are no "special" effects Pakistani pilots know on the F16 that Turkish, American, Israeli, Greek etc pilots dont already know. At the end Turkey fixed the problem by bringing in some retired pilots as a stop gap, the Afrin operation showed Turkish airforce is back to its full strength if not better, recent campaigns deep in Iraq also show this.

And no one said it is training is exclusive but the fact is Turkey is ahead of Pakistan in counter terrorism, dealing with refugees and for the matter since you mentioned it areas of the airforce in a much more hostile and fragile environment.

Best thing Pakistan can do right now is not be in the wrong side in the face of American and Saudi intervention in the area against countries like Turkey, Qatar and Iran. The Middle East is reshaping and strategic cooperation with friendly countries is vital.

Pakistan has nuclear weapons, while Turkey doesnt.

That's true, and that's also why Pakistan is in a constant state of unrest and bad economics, because the powers that be like it that way.
Pakistan used to be quite rich and far ahead than most states when Bhutto announced a pursuit of the nukes, and all shit starting falling down right after.

They're gonna try do the same to Turkey now though, now that its no longer dancing to their tunes and getting back up as a religious nation and not some secular trickery which Mustafa Kamal played on his people...

bro, persuit of nukes was the right decision.

bro, persuit of nukes was the right decision.

That's what I'm saying mate.
It was and it is the right decision.
There is no honor in being at the mercy of others.

We might not have been very successful with economics, but we know how to fight for ourselves and keep our children safe from the uncivilized rapist hordes that linger on eastern and western sides of our borders...

probably they want us to take saudi's onboard on kurds

That won't happen and we can't help unfortunately. The Saudi and UAE policy on Syria is the exact same as the US', with the SDF receiving their firm backing.

It's true that the US is hearing some intense calls for withdrawal from the ME from their own public. We are heading into some interesting times.

.
I have read all the posts no one have said this visit is about Afghanistan , may be US wants Turkey to play a part in training Afghan forces and presence of turk Nato forces in Afghanistan ,if Taliban insist on total US withdrawal ,
