there sadly isn't any explanation of how that could work... detecting a sniper, camping 1 km away?
if there is any bullet passing by, it shows you the direktion and lokation of that shooter. i know that tanks or others install it, but didnt know about soldiers

when bullet pass by, or goes, they make wawes, and if you install some antennas, you are able to know the direktion of bullet, there are wideos about it if you look up

I understood that from the beginning - but in terms of a skirmish - how you would be able to detect if that's a bullet of a hiding sniper - or a "regular" bullet shot from nearby? here the direction doesn't matter... it has to be "bullet detector" not "sniper detector" - or is the system able to calculate the distance the bullet was shot from? that would be smth different...
one scenario for you: enemies around - lots of bullets - the detector tells you "bullet from the right side"...
but there are already visible enemies on your right flank - so?
what if a sniper hides around 1 km in the distance targeting you from the right side too - would the detector be able to tell you, that the bullets were these of the sniper?
