Why is Qatar not interested in the TFX? They will benefit from 5th gen fighters instead of buying 5382743208 types of 4th gen fighters, plus we could offer local production to some extent.
In fact, I think considering the fact that uncle Sam will probably not sell them any f-35 it is very likelythat they invest on TFX in the future.

SAAB is reportedly working on a 5th gen aircraft. Japan, Korea, China, Russia, India have programs. They will probably wait 15-20 years until all these programs start to solidify and there are multiple choises is the market ready to acquire.

I doubt these figures, too. Mainly because in Turkey we don't really separate between actual defence products and products from/for the aviation industry.
