There is this company called Kale Naturel from Edremit-Balıkesir-Turkey whom managed recude number of water molecules from 9 to 7 in sodiumpentaborate. They added this matter to cement mixture, cement become the world's hardest. This type of cement has the property to prevent radiation emitions in nucleer plants. They patented it. Countries interest in this matter paying attention to company and contact them.

Company has an idea, they want to cover the hull of aircrafts with this matter, so every plane covered with it would be radiation free. They also will use substance in radiological facilities (X-ray hospital labs). They say neutron emitions are fully absorbed. They say this substance can be implemented on the hull and cockpits of the fighter jets.

Radiation exposure levels during flights vary according to altitude, latitude and the space weather at the time. Company claims if plane is coreved with their material, passengers wont get radiation from outside of the plane, only inside.

This type of substance i have seen before while i was trying to learn about the stuff shared on this forum. Generally they contain boran. Some of it deflects, most of it absorbs. That is the reason it is not widely prefered. Is it emitting what it absorbed? In this case answer must be "no". Otherwise it has limited use.

HAVELSAN Provides the Combat Management System of Romanian Frigates

The tender opened by Romania for the modernisation of its Type 22 frigates, which it procured in 2004 and 2005 with dismantled combat systems, was won by a consortium led by STM as prime contractor that also included HAVELSAN, ASELSAN and the Romanian company CRS. A Project Group Cooperation Agreement was signed between the consortium members, at a ceremony held on board the TCG HEYBELİADA (F-511) on April 4, during its visit to the Romanian port of Constanta.
In a press release issued by HAVELSAN on July 20, it was reported that the company would provide combat management systems and carry out the integration of the system within the context of the project. The project will constitute the first export of the combat management system developed by HAVELSAN for the Turkish Naval Forces’ surface platforms.

It is aimed to determine projects and project models for the subject by evaluating the competencies and R & D project proposals of the firms / institutions / organizations with Wide Area Call.

Extent

Within the scope of the projects that can be started as a result of the evaluation made after the Wide Area Call, it is aimed to develop technologies for increasing the wear and corrosion life for the high shot count barrels.

Technological Issues

Proposals for projects to be presented within the scope of the Wide Area Call; Coating, production and test technology to increase the wear and corrosion life.

It s not about outside pressure but the fact that Turkey can t deliver the final product without Western subsystems and Erdogan's policies led to this.
