Turkish Defence Industry Exports & Updates

DEFTECH [ Pendekar Mk2 ]
Fire control systems the same with aselsan's.I think we've exported volkan fire control system ,stamp and others to Malaysia.

@cabatli_53 Bro towards the end General Manager of KAE says that CATS is not new Technology, does that mean something better is around the corner ? :)

Fingers crossed. Aselsan is the type of company that never stops moving forwards, even when we think they pulled out their best out there is still always something brewing in their HQ. :)

According to a recent press release by Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP), Turkey and Pakistan have three “massive” defence deals in the pipeline.

Upon inking a deal to buy an unspecified number of Super Mushshak basic flight trainers from Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Pakistan’s MoDP announced that Turkey will in fact acquire a relatively large number of Super Mushshak aircraft.

In addition, the MoDP also noted the contract it had awarded to Turkey’s STM for upgrading the Pakistan Navy’s three Agosta 90B submarines, which presently form the core of the Navy’s submarine fleet. STM was selected over France’s DCNS on the basis of a “technically and commercially superior” package, even though it was originally DCNS that had designed and built the Agosta 90B submarines.

The two sides will also celebrate the handing over of the Fleet Tanker to the Pakistan Navy. Designed by STM and produced at Karachi Shipyards and Engineering Works (with kits from Turkey), the Fleet Tanker displaces 15,600 tons and is capable of travelling at 20 knots.

Why we need the Super Mushshak when we have hürkus?

Because Hurküş is not first step for new pilots rather second step.Super Mushak is no where near an aircraft equal to Hürkuş , think of it like this : Super Mushak is a F-5 while Hürkuş is a F-4.

But surely we could have produced on our own...well I guess we pat the Pakistanis on the back and they pat ours. Business is business:enjoy:

I have a feeling that it is Qatar. 1 because they are loaded with cash and 2. they are probably the only friendly country we have in that area

I don't think We have enough engineer to design So many Airplanes at ones (hürkuş b/c Tx, Fx, Trjet 328, Trjet 7xx). Also If We can buy it from trustworthy country, We should support each other's defence and aerospace industries.

Arda Mevlütoglu the turkish Analyst called the turkish defence industry as "A MUSEUM OF PROTOTYPES"

There is no industrial base for a defence industry in Turkey. No machinery, No Investments, Nothing.

Warning issued for trolling.
