Valley of the Wolves: Palestine is a Turkish action film, directed by Zübeyr Şaşmaz, about a Turkish commando team which go to Palestine to track down the Israeli military commander responsible for the Gaza flotilla raid. The film, which went on nationwide general release across Turkey on 28 January 2011, is one of the most expensive Turkish films ever made. It is part of the Valley of the Wolves media franchise, based on the Turkish television series of the same name, and is a sequel to Valley of the Wolves: Iraq (2006) and Valley of the Wolves: Gladio (2008).

After the flotilla attempts to bring humanitarian assistance to Gaza refuses to turn back, it is attacked by the Israeli military. In a dramatic battle scene, activists resist and are mowed down by the Israeli soldiers. A Turkish commando team led by Polat Alemdar (Necati Şaşmaz) travels to West Bank in Palestine, where they launch a campaign against Israeli military personnel in an attempt to track down and eliminate an Israeli general, leader Moşe Ben Eliyezer (Erdal Beşikçioğlu) responsible for the flotilla raid.

Love Likes Coincidences is a 2011 Turkish drama film, directed by Ömer Faruk Sorak, starring Mehmet Günsür and Belçim Bilgin Erdoğan as star crossed lovers whose lives are intertwined by a series of coincidences. The film, which opened on February 4, 2011 at number 1 in the Turkish box office, is one of the highest grossing Turkish films of 2011.

One September morning in 1977 in Ankara, a young man rushes his pregnant wife to the hospital for the impending birth. He crashes into another car, whose driver is another father-to-be. As a result of the accident, the woman in the car they hit gives birth prematurely, resulting in both babies being born on the same day at the same hospital. That accident becomes the first of many coincidences that will connect the fates of Özgür and Deniz, whose lives will continue to intersect throughout the rest of their childhood and teenage years in Ankara. Each time their paths intersect, the cause of the intersection greatly transforms both Özgür and Deniz’s lives. However, their lives never fully intertwine because whatever it is that brings them together manages to build a wall between until their next encounter, some 25 years on, in Istanbul.

Five Minarets in New York is a Turkish action film written and directed by Mahsun Kırmızıgül, which follows two Turkish police officers sent to New York to bring back a smuggler. The film, which went on nationwide general release across Turkey on November 5, 2010, was one of the highest-grossing Turkish films of 2010. The title comes from the popular Turkish folk song, Five Minarets in Bitlis (Turkish: Bitlis'te Beş Minare)

The film, which Director Mahsun Kırmızıgül wrote the story and the screenplay of for around 11 years before production commenced, was shot from April to June 2010 on location in New York, USA and Istanbul, Turkey with an estimated budget of US$20 million

Cinematographer Jim Gucciardo shot the film in Anamorphic 35mm using an Arricam LT with Hawk Anamorphic V series lenses as the main “A” camera as well as a 1-Arri 435 for high speed sequences and a 1-Arri 235 for handheld and special Steadicam sequences. Iraqi American production designer, John El Manahi was brought on to bring authenticity to the visual style of the sets and the complex action sequences.

The film follows two anti-terror officers from Istanbul, sent to New York to find and bring back a Turkish religious leader, codenamed Dajjal, who was arrested in the United States and who will be delivered to Turkish authorities by the FBI. The film emphasizes the rise of Islamophobia in Turkey and the United States after September 11 attacks, seeking to answer the question of whether innocence or guilt even matters to one who lusts for vengeance.

The film, which opened on January 7, 2011 at number 1 in the Turkish box office, is a sequel to the hit comedy Eyyvah Eyvah.

Hüseyin (Ata Demirer), a clarinetist from a village in Turkey's Thracian region, tries to reach his fiance, who works as a nurse in a village near Çanakkale, to give her a ring to win back her heart.

Shadows and Faces is a 2010 Turkish drama film, written and directed by Turkish Cypriot director Derviş Zaim, which tells the story of a young girl who is separated from her father, a Karagöz shadow play master, during the beginning of the conflict between Turks and Greeks in Cyprus in 1963. The film, which is scheduled to go on nationwide general release across Turkey on March 11, 2011, premiered in competition at the 47th International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, where it won the Turkish Film Critics Association Award. It is the third and final part of a trilogy of films themed around traditional Turkish arts, which includes Waiting for Heaven (2006) and Dot (2008).

Breath (Turkish: Nefes: Vatan Sağolsun) is a 2009 Turkish war-drama film directed by Levent Semerci. The film, which tells the story of 40 soldiers in charge of protecting a relay station near the Iraqi border in southeastern Turkey, was adapted from the short stories Tales from the Southeast and Ground Minus Zero by Hakan Evrensel and is, according to Hürriyet Daily News reviewer Emine Yıldırım, the first Turkish film that tackles, through an authentic perspective and convincing realness, the contemporary situation of the Turkish army and its long battle with the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

This film is about a small group of 40-Turkish soldiers in a remote patrol station in eastern Turkey facing their near-certain death during a time the conflict between Turkish Army and Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) at its peak point.

The film went on general release across Turkey on October 16, 2009 and won two awards at the 3rd Yeşilçam Awards as well as being one of the highest grossing films of 2009, prompting its re-release on July 23, 2010.

well, i rarely watching tv especially drama series, but if you have a recommended turkish movie maybe i'm going to watch it... :-)
