Possibly with ASELFLIR-300T and MILRAD milimetric-wave radar with SAR/GMTI capability, as well as radio-links to give SA for ground troops.

Estimated Price with ground logistics 3 Billion USD in comparison to 30 F-35 for the same cost. Of course they will be never never in the same league, but we Need mostly defensive weapons with low maintenance Need.

All boarders, including coasts. Jets on Alarm Status - Sateliites watching, AEW always in the air, Radars and all sensors active (sonobuoys, seismic and all) IT will happen in estimated 10-15 years.
