Turkish army’s drill on Iraqi border [PHOTO]

@313ghazi Most Muslims won't consider the people in charge of the KRG "brothers" because they allow themselves to be bought, coerced and manipulated by the West to use the Kurdish people to the detriment of the Muslim nations around them. Not just once but repeatedly. The same can be said about many violent/terrorist/extremist groups who self-proclaim to serve Islam while in reality only hurting its cause and giving it a bad reputation in the international arena.

Kurds are most distant to Islam out of all middle easterners (minus Jews). Besides this argument is the usual I come across. When the Kurd subject is mentioned some random Muslim will say, 'Saladin was Kurd as well' as if that makes a difference, looks like another script people are taught to repeat.

I agree bro. I talk to some Kurdish people in my local community and they are very focused on unity between Muslims. They consider the conflict in Syria and Iraq as fitna. Unfortunately it is always the corrupt of heart and mind that create fitna. Bad leaders destroy families, communities and countries. For some reason these people always find power too.

How can any government that supplies 75% of Israels oil consider itself morally correct, let alone Muslim.

Turkey should also seriously arm the Turkmens who live along the Telafer Musul Kerkuk corridor with ehavy weapons so that they can at least defend themselves a bit better in case of a wider Baghdad-KRG clash.

Hopefully this time there won't be another orospu cocugu traitor dumbuk like Can Dündar to advertise such special operations to the world.
I can bet anything that Erdoğan government will never ever ever send and sent weapons to Türkmens. Those weapons were going to FSA.

Is there any possibility of Pakistan joining Turkey in this operation too and sending her troops there , I would love to see them in action - They are lot better than Iraqis and Iranians in warfare . And are Well trained in urban war clearing ground and villages .

Easiest solution to this is to work together with Iraqi army and also send Türkmens such as ITC more heavy weapons to defend themselves. We can support Iraq with air force and they can sweep from the ground, once and for all finish them and also destroy pkk kandil and sinjar bases too.

Barzani harbours or turns a blind eye to pkk for years.

Lol no one in the region wants this referendum. Kurds are a landlocked people. If turkey, Iran and Iraq close their borders to them they're screwed.

Iraqi troops arrived to Turkey to attend Turkish Army's military drill on the border with Iraq

Insha'Allah they won't be needed for the poor folks have suffered more than they can ever tolerate!!! I think they will offer their lands for the Turkish protection for the alternative is endless blood & tears....

Turkey knows it first hand from WW1 experience!!! On a serious note, at the least Pak general staff should have some "observers" to note the takeaways from this expedition!!! Moreover, it'll be an opportunity for them to real-time feedback on weapons/systems (e/.g., Al-Khalid, JF17 etc.) development...

Anyone suggesting that Pakistani forces are better than Iranian forces should let their brains checked. There is a reason why Iran is more stable than Pakistan, and no militant forces has ever come near to occupy a Iranian city. Iran has trained the single most competent force in the Syrian War, namely Hezbollah, who single handedly defeated Israeli forces in 2006 and has defeated every single militant forces in Syria on the battlefield.

Pakistan is not a issue in this conflict. You are not a regional power, and nobody will ever need your national forces in the Middle East, except for the Gulf Arabs who consider Pakistani lives to be less worthy than their own.
