Turkish army’s drill on Iraqi border [PHOTO]

The entire Kurdish, Syria and Iraq conflicts are a complete mess.. All these different parties have different interests in the region. We need a cunning leader like Abdulhamid to play the opposing forces against each other.

It's not a fight that depletes either side militarily, ISF is not using any of its air force neither heavy artillery. Therfor the ISF is not being depleted, neither is the Pesh given that they are not being struck severely. The objective is not to kill them, it's to take back the area's.

Hence the negotiations, it enables for objectives to be achieved without/less casualties. They could take it all by force far quicker by using the air force/army aviation but that military victory would make Iraq look bad.

Irag did the right thing.. it was probably the idea of all three countries.. otherwise Kurds will cry that they lost the war because of airforce, thtas why they need their own airforce..
This way, the best excuse they can bring for their running is Iran is fighting against them..
They dont even know what they are talking abiut. If you want to have independence from Turkey and Iran and Irag, but have no balls to fight, the question is why the hell are you doing it? I bet they cant even answer it..
They dream that American soldiers will join and fight against all these countries which is impossible and a suicide..

Iraq isn't exactly known for a global tourist destination. Everyone around the world knows it's a schithole warzone. They really shouldn't worry about "looking bad" at this point in time and instead get some necessary schit done. And by that I mean keep Iraq's territorial integrity! It's every Iraqi's natural right to fight for safeguarding Iraq's borders and fighting for your land (so that the Kurds don't steal it away) isn't going to make you look bad, nor should you give a rat's arse even if it did!

No one cares about public opinion of foreigners, it's about foreign relations which will be affected in that case

lol

Blue: "Occupied" by Turkey, according to http://iraq.liveuamap.com/

Of course, it's nonsense. I wouldn't even imply that this tiny little piece of land is occupied by Turkey. In fact, our operation in Northern Iraq is approved by the central government of Iraq.

The situation in KRG goes really bad. Protests and fights between KDP and PUK supporters in multiple areas. The MPs in the parliament were trapped inside and successfully evacuated by the peshmerga forces.

Also there was a meeting between Turkmen representatives and the president Erdogan together with his team

Turkish and Iraqi troops just entered the border crossings, Kurds ran away as usual, no more tax and bribery at the gates for the Kurds.

Such a move states that Turkey wants a ground border link with Baghdad. I don't get why the KRG is still trying to oppose it, they are still choosing hostility and confrontation over negotiations, all that whilst they're aware they cannot win it militarily.

The KRG is ending up with less than it had after 1991, even before the 2003 invasion they had more than what it will look like soon. Baghdad as a federal authority is demanding the presence of its forces in Arbil and Suleymaniyah airport as well as all border crossings. Either way this is their fault, they have stabbed and been working on destroying Iraq whenever they were given the opportunity despite Iraq giving them autonomy and funding them with billions of dollars, they have no right to complain now.

"Iraq to end decades-old policy of semi-independent rule in Kurdistan says PM Abad" Is this true my friend?

Yes
The situation is returning to that of pre 1991 war.

The KRG made major gains in several occurrences; 1991 war, 2003 war, 2014 IS takeover.

Iraqi forces are now being stationed on the border crossings with Turkey and Iran, Baghdad also insists on controlling all federal entry points (Arbil and Suleymaniyah airport) this means military presence in KRG proper. That returns the situation to pre 1991 war.

Question is if they will reverse it to pre 1970 (When the Kurdish autonomy was accepted by Baghdad).
