I love turkey because of its military strength (and women lol ) but the military is getting stronger and stronger. It is also good Turkey is focusing on having a strong navy and airforce. The thing is they need to develop UAV's to strike at PKK sanctuaries in Iraqi Kurdistan. Turkey is going the right path and when the 2020s come Turkey will officially be the regional power of the mideast. Conscription are good to have in my opinion because you need a massive reserve force. Yeas technology is good and all but if you are in a war of attrition or fighting a tough insurgency you do not want you forces stretched thin. Turkey should have a volunteer force but put in the constitution that a draft can be called in Turkey when the government needs the young men of Turkey. Hey it works for Israel and South Korea. Just maintain a very large reserve force. In all Turkey is going the right path in modernizing its airforce,navy and armored vehicles. I just love the Altay tank. Can you guys update me on the modernization projects Turkey's Amred Forces are working on? I know you guys orders 100-120 F-35. The military is working the beautiful Altay Tank and the Turkish navy wants more frigates. What other projects are going on?
