Russian supposed to sell S-400 SAM to Turkey. I doubt Russian will supply arms to YPG. Maybe the missile is a US Stinger Manpad.

It is not...
Igla manpads were already found in this op...

And , I agree that the US may be ruled by a bunch of dumba** right now... but their services are not dumb neither "rookies"...
Giving stingers with US marks..;is almost a declaration of "war" or at least "open conflict"... And they are too smart to do so...

Other said...US gave Igla ones from East Europe... well it's a possiblity... But never they will waste their chance by giving stingers...
And even for E.European ones could be traced... and therefore the buyer... so it's still a "potential" lose for the US...

That's why Erdogan didn't explicitly said " US is giving Manpads to PKK/YPG..., but use the word "Arms" in general"

There were rumours about the stinger supply before the operation began ..but the US denied it..

Is this incompetence. I don't think any wise commander would use choppers in a mountanious area. We know PKK has MANPADs but in such a dense and mountanious area choppers can be taken down by other means to ?
