Does the Turkish army use desert camo???

Desert camo in my opinion is my favourite camo alongside the white one.

As far as I know there have been some usage of 3 Color Desert in the past but very rare.

The only place I saw it in recent time is with CBRN units but not sure if tied to the armed forces.

EDIT: My brain completely shut down for the one on usage in the base in Qatar. @Yatağanlı showed below.

Question:

Eastern Anatolia is lush green in the spring, yellowish and dry during the summer months, brownish and grey during autumn and we have lots of snow, too.

How is the military dealing with this natural environment change during the year? How often do they change the uniforms?

As far as I am informed there are two equipment batches which are winter and summer. The winter batches includes GoreTex boots, thicker fabric uniforms, Soft Shell jacket/fleece, winter thick jacket and the personnel himself could buy polar style fleece (the information is for the deliveries of the new designs). On extremely cold and snowy conditions there are also special winter equipment delivered to soldiers like double faced poncho with its accessories for the legs and hands, snow parka, snow boot, snow hat, snow backpack, snow "hunter" style vest.

When we talk about the changing colors and seasons we must know that every camouflage is developed according to the environment in which its meant to be used and when a pattern is developed some of the colors of the camouflages can become more visible than others because of the lighting conditions and the environment so the camouflage have to be versatile in its environment.

A move that added more versatility in the Turkish inventory in uniforms for different seasons and conditions is the introducing of the new land forces woodland style camouflage, the introducing of the new Navy infantry uniforms and camouflage patterns and also the new Air Forces Command BDU and camouflage pattern. By that move the number of standard camouflages and uniform designs for the Turkish Armed Forces have changed and the uniforms of the different units started to be more diversified.

Guys we have important news here! According to of a very respected member in Turkish and international forums DENO he has heard from some of his sources that the new camouflage pattern that we recently saw on the graduation ceremony of the new SF members of the Special Forces Command is chosen as a final replacement for the standard issue combat camouflage for the whole Land Forces Command! Now just pray his sources are right :)

Turkish police and army members in the times around World War II.

At that time Turkey’s Military uniforms were designed by the legendary French designer Coco Chanel.

Here you can see a Turkish General on the left with his Chanel outfit and his German colleague dressed by Hugo Boss.

Was the Stalhelm still used by Turkish army during Ataturk's time.

Man I can swear I saw Turkish soldiers wearing the Stalhelm in a parade where Ataturk was watching the troops.

But man I cant find those images at all. I regret not saving them at all.

One thing the Turks sure do love is uniforms. Those Coco Chanel uniforms are bloody beautiful.

Yes, some troops were equipped with Stahlhelm.

Turkish Uniforms were beautiful, but German Hugo Boss Uniforms = elegant badass.

Indeed German ww2 uniforms have to be one of the best. Classy along with elegance it really does symbolise militarism and discipline.

Number 1 Gendarmerie Camouflage/Number 2 Woodland Camouflage/Number 3? :):):)
There are very sweet rumors about number 3 :) It is rumored to be the best Land Forces Command camouflage competitor!
