too b honest i don´t support anything muslim anymore. Istanbul, Kabul. Thats all the same for me. And no i´m not in the mood for rational arguments today. Islam is at war with europe. thats the basic fact

Turkey is an European nation. Its capital is the largest city/capital of Europe. Turkey has historical roots in Europe as it was the ruling nation of almost half of Europe, and was most powerful superpower of Europe, and world, for centuries. European heritage comes from Turkish lands and vice versa. Hagia Sophia, earliest churches, major trade routes, and capital of Roman empire after Rome are areas that lie in today's Turkey

Turkey has a lot of European influence and Europe has alot of Turkish influence.

Turkey is an Euro-Asian nation.

hahaha...according to who? YOU?! An insecure, rather plain looking, undereducated lonely individual who sits on internet all day and open threads like these one's to "cry about your bad experience at a connecting flight?"

You know how pathetically sad you come out to be?

Turkish Airlines is a global airline with more destinations than any other airline in Europe.

I have been to London, Paris, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and what not..

Let me tell you something that anyone who has actually traveled will agree on: Istanbul, is by far, the cleanest mega city I've seen (haven't seen many. Especially Japanese one's. They may be much cleaner than Istanbul)...

London/Paris pales infront of Istanbul. Istanbul is much, much larger in population...transcontinental...offers best weather..and is the cleanest of all three. Moreover, Istanbul has most history and heritage to it.

It is much, much more "cultured" city as it is the amalgamation of global civilizations (Islam/Christendom), Europe and Middle-East, and a transcontinental city that has two different seas to its shores.

As I said, Istanbul has no match to her grandeur and heritage amongst major European capitals of today (namely Paris/London).

With this old, over-crowded airport, Turkey is still on of the top three largest airhub of Europe....

Istanbul airport climbing rank to join London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle as Europe's top air hubs

Now imagine when mega airport of Turkey goes online, what will happen? :azn:

Read the article!

The new Turkish Airport will have the capacity to handle 150 million+ passengers...

You can live in your dreams and in your own little bubble (as you always live..whether its history or present)..but facts on ground don't change.

Turkey is kicking *** Mashallah..and there's nothing you can do about it...but to blabber.

Turkish Air Lines has consistently been voted as the best airlines of Europe in past couple of years. Even European football clubs voted Turkish Airlines as best airline to travel!!

The commercials of Turkish airlines gets more views on Youtube than continent wide "European" mega shows. :azn::azn::azn:

I don´t "sit" in the internet. I use a smartphone and post while walking or on travel. Guess in your cave thats a technology you aren´t aware off. Beside that you other bullshit is good for entertaining.

You're just a whining guy thinks that only Europe is all butterflies and bees and stupid enough for complaining here at PDF instead of THY's site. You should thank God at least you've never flown with a military cargo aircraft, respectfully the CN-235. It doesn't matter where you sit, the engine sound kicks your butt and it's hard to hear voice for 5 minutes after you land. You deserve that.

Back to topic, I have flown with THY dozens of times. Both domestic and international flights. Never had a problem. The crew members are cute and polite, most of the pilots are former combat pilots retired/resigned from duty after completing their 15 years of mandatory service. As for the planes, they are quite modern. And they keep buying new carrries.

Now you can whine as much as you want. You Germans and the French will never change your prejudices and attitude towards us the Turks. Well, I have a bad news for ya...here it comes:

We don't give a fųck :)

It can´t be worse than Ryan Air. ;)
I am a hypocrite , just like you .. lemme explain.
I hate ryan air. from the moment I start buying online tickets on their web site , the experience is horrendous . You basically have to manually click " I dont want to buy this" , you cant skip any step.. its a must , e.g. - "Do you want travel insurance".. you have to click on No (in order to move to the next page) , but on Ryan Air it says , "NO, I WILL TAKE THE RISK" . I mean , height of marketing or what :/ .

Next after clicking on about 9 or 10 "No , I dont want this" , you have to print your boarding pass yourself , if you forget to print it , you will have to pay 40 Euros in E.U. or 40 Pounds Sterling if in UK. yukk!!!

They are also trying to squeeze more people in their flights with these innovations , if this is passed , this is how the future of Air travel will look like.

They are/were also thinking of implimenting €1 for each time a person uses lavatory on the plane.

The paid-for food isnt as good.

But you have to give it to the Man behind Ryan Air himself , Michael O Leary. A real entrepreneur .
- Doesnt let his plane sit on any airport more than 30 Mins. By the time a flight lands , the second leg of the journey is scheduled to fly within half an hour , so one can see the passengers waiting in the queue to board the aircraft ,as soon as the others descend.

- Uses a Taxi plate on his car to save time while travelling within the city. As traffic in Dublin is bad at rush hours , and taxi and Busses have their own dedicated lanes. below is the pic of Michael hiimself with his `taxi` in the background.

- Sell Lotto tickets , Bus / Train passes in the cabin.

He never said Ryan Air will be a luxury airline , what he says is , " It will be the cheapest way of flying" and cheapest it is.
Gets you from point A to point B in the same amount of time a bmi or klm will.
I myself , in 2004 and 2005 have flied with Ryan Air from Dublin to London Stansted Airport for 1 cent , 1 fcuking cent. I shiite you not lads. But the taxes were like 20 € or so. So the final ticket was like - "€20.01"

. . . . . .
As for "touching". Thats simply rude and not very accepted anywhere in europe. You simply don´t do that. Its first lesson for them. I don´t mind it but someone elderly could get angry then.

Dude, get real....if you were listening on headphones, short of yelling and disturbing everyone, there's no way to attract your attention. A tap on the shoulder is not rude, anywhere in Europe.

With completion of new airport in Turkey, I presume that the "main" hub of Europe will be shift from London to Istanbul (and rightly so. There is no other European capital that can match Istanbul's grandeur).

You're in fantasy realm again. Your second post, the wall of text, is full of lies.

@MarkusS

You obviously haven't sat in a military cargo plane a C-130 to be exact and that too in bad weather soooooooo perhaps not your worse experience.
