1) Why turkish top brass seemed until very recently to purchase ASTER30 system when your SIPER can reach 90+km target?

Turkiye signed an agreement with EUROSAM in 2018 to develop a new Air Defense System with Anti-Balistic Missile capability up to 3.000 km

as of 2022 , Turkiye has similar technology to SAMP-T to intercept Fighter Jets

2) S400 is not so impressiv. Except the shooting of a ukrainian Su27 some weeks ago (maybe very lucky? Maybe fired in high salvo?) , it is unable to catch Himar rocket for exemple. The counter ballistic missile is so far unproven.

S400 has the longest range kill record ( 150+ km ) in the world
French-İtalian SAMP-T has no even any real conflict experience-success

250-380 km S400 easly can block all Aegean or Turkish EEZ in the Eastern Mediterranean against the enemy Air Forces ...
