If true, then it's a boon for China. But as with everything generally, take it with a pinch of salt. Though I am optimistically hopeful that Turkey would extricate itself out of NATO & EU to become more East centric and become Islamic rather than secular.

Turkiye does not intend to leave any international organization of which it is a member. On the contrary, it has the intention of being a part of more structures. I don't know what you see from Pakistan, but Turkiye will always preserve its secular identity. No force can change that.

Turkiye has not supported any terrorist activity related to the Uighurs. The problem in the 80s and 90s was about the asylum request of Uyghur-born diplomats working in some of China's state representations in TR, and after that, China started to be more selective in appointing diplomats to these regions.

If you look at today, large numbers of people reported by China have been extradited or prevented from entering the country. China's territorial integrity is not an issue open to discussion under any circumstances. For this reason, Turkiye is also the target of the western media for this stance. There are very important differences between Turkiye's view of the Uyghurs and that of the West, and fortunately Chinese officials are starting to see this too.

We speak exactly the same language. Uyghur Turkish is 85-90% the same as the Turkish spoken in Anatolia. Therefore, they can quickly increase people awareness of the things they experience without any language and cultural barriers. The point we object to is the wholesale perspective of the Uighur people, which tries to associate it with terrorism as a whole. The more sensitive China is on this issue, the more Turkish geographies will see the Uyghurs as a part of China's indivisible unity.
