Turkey warns the United States: The embargo imposed on Iran is a mistake

yes I would love to see how the black banners have direct connection from afghanistan to iraq and saudi arabia..

as if iran would melt like an snowball in the sun.. today wars are made of proxies this means there would be massive involvement of ground troops from other sects and other ideologies and other folks (must be some help of iranian arabs, iranian kurds, iranian azeri and sunni and external factors like alqaida or worse) otherwise there is a need of a big big coalition much bigger than the invasion of iraq.. iran falling is not like just change the regime and install someone like in kuwait..

so yeah a really good idea to turn iran into syria..

Regardless of ethnicity, Iran is a 90% Shia country so it would be difficult to gain any traction. This is why a western powers are using the liberal youth who don’t have value for Iranian culture and religion.

Best case scenario for Iran would be a peaceful transfer of power to a technocrat government. Hassan Rouhani turned out to be much worse than any previous Iranian leader in playing the Shia extremist card.

Iran needs to ditch sectarianism and work for genuine change for their people. Abandon slogans and work on the economy.

Iran should progress on their own terms, not dictated and bullied like US loves to do.

This "Next" theory is ridiculous. I've heard people here say "Pakistan is next", now you come with the new "Turkey is next"theory. hmm..Turkey is in NATO, and not and American enemy(even though US probably hates Turkey's styyle of govt, and hence the possible support of Fetullah)so i dont think Turkey will ever be "attacked"by US or NATO.

There are no “enemies” in modern politics. There are only “in our interests” “not in our interests” and “against our interests” Countries like KSA and gulf states are only kept in power so US can milk them for money. Any country that is a threat to US hegemony in ME and standing in the way of a greater Israel is a threat to US as it is against there interest. There are only two countries that can challenge US in ME. One is Iran, which have been a pain in the as* for US since 1979. Iran can effectively use Shia militants and has enough natures resources to keep screwing US in ME. That’s why they are so eager to punish Iran’s economy and are pushing for regime change. The other country is Turkey. They have the economy, and good enough reputation in most of the muslim world, have been exporting its culture for many years, and stands as a model secular country for other failed Arab states.

Neither Iran, nor Turkey can be allowed to dominate ME. US was trying to push Iran and Turkey towards war but failed miserably.
