Your electronic/electro-optic industry contributes the biggest share in your national products but For example, Your country don't have a mature automotive subsystems, nor engine technology. No need to mention raw materials, chassis that you need other countries for land platforms. If Turkey's defence industry was not as advanced as it is now and have the potential to become much better in future you would not find israelis commenting here.

You are certainly not better then France they produce state of the art strategic weapons such as Aircraft Carriers, Nuclear Submarines, Fighter Jets, Air defence systems etc while you need germany for submarines they produce their own and export it to allies aswell
