Because the offensive failed and europeans who once were the main stakeholders but lost momentum due to betrayal of GNA now there is a chance for russia not only to get more share in libyan oil but to establish a base inside libya today i read news how gna delegation went in moscow re-signing the old construction deals with russia worth 12B yesterday there was news that they will sign guarantees for the unfinished deals with turkish companies
So there is win win situation for putin and erdogan both of them will get (old and new once situation is stabilized) construction deals as well as share in gas deals plus both of them will get a military base inside libya
Italians have returned to rationality and they will try to save(their influence) as much they can

The thing for Egyptians is the Turkish Troops in Libya .... this is the Egyptian Red Line. ..... specially in Eastern Libya region ..... we don’t have other issues regarding Gas fields ... it mainly Cyprus and Greece who are affected by other Turkish actions.

Don’t be so hard on them ..... as you know that time Egypt and Tunisia have domestic political turmoils with no ability to influence the Libyan issue .... except the time that some news said NATO will have Military Bases in Libya ..... that time Marshal Tantawy has visited Libya and rejected any NATO plans in Libya .

Haftar Forces Accept Ceasefire Offer, Halts Offensive

Khalifa Haftar accepted a truce to halt a nine-month-long offensive to seize the capital Tripoli following calls by Turkey and Russia, his spokesman Ahmed Al-Mismari said in a statement.

Mismari said the truce would take effect at midnight local time and would depend on the internationally recognized government in Tripoli also respecting the ceasefire. The Tripoli-based government has already said it would welcome a truce.

Well it seems to me that we have understanding regarding turkish&egyptian redlines turkish troops will be stationed only in tripoli and misrata which is far away from libya-egypt border you know that central institutions are in tripoli also majorly of libyans i think almost 70% live in gna-held areas since the offensive has completely failed haftar’s sponsors will get rid of him because he won’t have control over those institutions that are key for international business as you know recently two or three months ago TOTAL a french gas giant was given extension for their oil exploration by gna
I think everyone except poor greeks will get their share some maybe more than others but that’s because ”those others” made stupid mistake by siding with the wrong man/warlord/failed general

Wars are only take place between states. If Turkey is fighting, (i disagree), its interlocutor is not warlord Hafter, but the states which are using him as a proxy.

We will provide infrastructure and training/inteligance support to the Libyan state with the invitation of the legitimate government.Our goal is not war, but stop these 9 months of massacres and war crimes and provide peace to Libya.

However, if someone goes outside this framework, they will have to leave the borders of Libya.

Hafter is not legitimate, but he is one of the actors in Libya and his aim is to achieve with massacres what he did not achieve by military coup. In Libya, far from the world's attention, while there was a massacre on this scale, Libya-Turkey agreement quashed this game. Despite the support of billions of dollars and logistical assitance, especially from France and the UAE, and with thousands of mercenaries from Russia's Wagners to Sudan's Janjawids he failed to keep his promises to his owners. And probably his plug will attract by his owners, not by us.

Don’t forget that Oil &Gas fields of Libya located mainly in Eastern Libya region under control of LNA .... also you need to touch the real pulse of Libyan people through following different media directions .... you will find only MB Media is with GNA but all other components of the Libyans are against it .... specially after the media campaign of ( the Turkish invasion) .... and what happened in Sirte is an example.

Haftar's forces, backed by former Gaddafi brigades, said they had seized control of most areas in Sirte after brief clashes with Sirte Protection and Security Force units, which pulled out after being abandoned by Brigade 604 - a Madkhali force that was formed after the city was freed from ISIS in 2016.

For weeks, Haftar's forces have been launching sporadic attacks on Sirte with several air attacks by UAE drones, which caused several deaths from the Sirte Protection and Security Force.

Sirte Protection and Security Force sources said their force was betrayed by Brigade 604, whose personnel are mostly from Sirte and tasked with securing their city from the inside.

The sources added that most of the city is now under the control of Haftar's forces and former Gaddafi brigades, except for some neighborhoods in which few brigades are trying to repel the rest of the attack.

With an air cover, Haftar's forces advanced Monday on Sirte from eastern and southern frontlines before 604 Brigade gave them the green light to advance from inside the city, thus forcing Sirte Protection and Security Force brigades to retreat allowing Haftar's forces to enter the city without fighting.

Gaddafi's hometown Sirte is still with the Gaddafi regime of Libya and that made it give the city to ISIS without any resistance as most militants were previous Gaddafi brigades' personnel.

Madkhali-Salafist Brigade 604 is made mostly from Sirte locals. It didn't take part in the fighting against ISIS. The brigade was formed to secure the city and it angered Sirte Protection and Security Force at the time, citing distrust in the personnel for their Salafist ideology that is linked to Gulf kingdoms, which is backing up Haftar.

also Albanian-Turkish military cooperation agreement was signed in 1992 that encompassed rebuilding Albania's Pasha Liman Base by Turkey
