The UN thingy is not a token of immunity... The main point of this incoming conflict is whatever TR Follow it's "Stance" till the End... And not falling into what partially failed her in Syria... that is "Meetings" with no end...
The Libyan episode is IMO the Last Chance for TR to remake her "Power" image on the regional and International maiden...
If it turns out like Syria and TR put herself in that same situation... it's over for her, That will push Other Regional power to take the lead... whatever with other Regional actors who where "neutral" and on the International stage, where those Other "Actors" will get a better recognition/support etc...

The Main point is simple "Act and Do and Endure as much as Russia in Syria... Or fail"

You are right .... noting that during the last 3 days there were 4 phone calls between Elsisi and ( Putin,Trump, Macron and Italian PM) and in Jan 5th there will be a meeting in Cairo between FM of France , Greece , Cyprus and Egypt.

You can link that with the meeting held by Elsisi with High officers from 4 days ago including Defense, security, intelligence, public health...etc delegates ...... and the maneuvers in the Mediterranean at the beginning of the month ...... you can except that the Egyptians are sending messages to the world that they will not stay silent if the Turkish Troops landed in Libya .... but as you said .... let’s wait and see how the Turks will engage .... directly or through mercenaries.

1- the new deal ( as the a Turkish officials said) if Egypt wanted to have a pipeline to Europe it has to take approval from Turkey or Libya ..... which will not happen.

2- Sending Turkish Troops to Libya is a red line for Egypt.

I said earlier that turkey needs to help gna not because of the deal itself but because of its image if turkey wants to lead an alliance then has to show that how can any other contry join hands with turkey in the future if gna is betrayed no one would like to share the same destiny we all know that the east mead pipeline won’t be build as long as there isn’t good satisfying offer ALSO RUSSIA DOESN’T want competition this is even more important factor why maybe east med gas will never reach its potential
About syria:
I think turkey is accomplishing what she wanted you just have to go back in august 2016 and see the territorial change in northern syria actually turkey offered to assad northern syria in exchange for backing him(of course in unofficial manner) but he gave the north to pkk Peace Spring is paused and it will continue in 2020 why should turkey loose soldiers and risk sanctions when it can swallow slowly piece by piece the whole north pkk is taking very high number of casualties they have limited size they are not conventional army and cannot hold large parts of territory

Well if ground troops is red line for egypt than destroying juffra airbase with f-16 and taking over tarhouna with f-16 air cover without sending turkish soldiers should be the best egypt-turkey de-escalation deal haftar would be stopped(turkish red line respected) and turkey won’t send ground troops(egyptian red line respected)

The only red line that exists will be crossed if Libya does not undergo severe Arabization policies with the process starting within a month from now, Egypt should invade with 100k+ troops. Jihad should be declared if needed

I believe that Egypt will not cross the boarders ( officially) except if the Turkish Troops landed in Libya .... otherwise , the support to LNA will continue.
