Who cares NATO. Turkey uses own Air defence command control management systems, radars and missiles under the same network called HEIRKSS and the units which is being developed is direcly connected into this network. It is just NATO souring Turkish network units to operate their systems under the same network to benefit intelligence capabilities of Turkish radars in crisses times. Otherwise, Do you seriously believe NATO will take action when NATO member Turkey met a serious problem while our "allies" feeding PKK terrorists in our south border? Why do we need to integrate our systems into NATO network anymore?

By the end of the year half of Nato will probably be run by neo-Nazi regimes. You think the spineless neo-Nazis of Europe who are already anti-Turk and are supporting the PKK will come to Turkey's defence if it got attacked? The last thing Turkey would want is to connect this S-400 to their systems This system is for Turkey's independent defence.

Good induction. Things have dramatically changed in between Russian and Turkey after the plane shot. Even the killing of Russian ambassador in Ankara hasn't deteriorated relations between both the countries.

Better range? Turkey produces own GaN modules and chips. The projected long range radar project called EIRS which is under development phase will has a range around 600km. Naval radar system called Çafrad which is the competitor of Aegis, has a similar search and tracking and 450km IFF range as well. Very long range radar system which is going to detect ballistic missiles from thousands of km away is also under development phase. Who cares what NATO friends crying for?

Israel is not a NATO member.Therefore it makes no sense with the terra radar system.

S-400 is not best air defense , like the article states, neither is S-500.
It's important to understand, that S-400 and S-500 are multi-layer missile defense systems, which in other countries mostly spread into couple of systems.
We do not know which system is the best in it's role, since most of them didn't even experience real combat scenario.

actually forigen costumer pay for the development we develop it for 2 costumers wich use it israel didnt buy it yet
the identify of the costumer didnt disclosed the range is thousends of kilometers
the terra system is opertional more then 2 years

There are already ongoing dev. project as @cabatli_53 stated above if you are able to read but it won't be a ready before 2020 so S-400 will fill the gap since national projects will be matured and operational. An operational air defence system is an urgent need for us at the moment.
