Turkey to give Kyiv $50 million for Ukrainian Army

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to visit Kyiv on February 3. During the visit, he will sign an agreement for Turkey to provide $50 million in financial assistance for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Andrii Sybiha told Ukrinform in an interview.

“During this visit, an agreement will be signed according to which Turkey will provide 200 million Turkish lira (around $50 million) in financial assistance for the purposes of the Ukrainian army, especially for purchasing weaponry. Last year we also signed similar deals for corresponding amounts,” said Sybiha.

He explained that the parties are also discussing “all key matters – from intensifying political dialog to creating the appropriate conditions for deepening economic cooperation, contact between people, cultural cooperation”.

On February 3, the Turkish and Ukrainian presidents will hold the eighth session of the intergovernmental High Level Strategic Council in Kyiv.

Without Russian intervention the US would have long ago completed the destruction of Syria and pushed the insurgency into Turkey itself. The US under Zionist influence will not stop until every country in the region is burning and Israel stands alone as the supreme island of wealth and stability. It is Russia and its fortified position in Syria that stands in their way not Turkey or Iran. The US could never target a Russian general as they did the Iranian.

Turkey already did that in Montenegro(30 million USD) and Bosnia(50 million USD) of course the money should be spent buying weapons from Turkish producers,that is the main condition.Montenegro already got some MPT 55 and 76,while in Bosnia there is still an ongoing debate what should be bought.

Turkey’s Erdogan pledges $200m to Ukraine army

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has rejected Russia’s annexation of Crimea and pledged to support the Ukrainian army with $200 million, Lebanese Al-Akhbar newspaper reported yesterday.

The paper said the Turkish president is retaliating for the killing of seven Turkish soldiers in Syria’s Idlib by regime forces which are supported by Russia.

Turkish Defence Minister, Hulusi Akar, accused the Russian side of “lying” about its lack of involvement in the Syrian regime’s mortar attack on Turkish forces, saying the Turkish side has “informed the Russians in advance, twice, of Turkish units movements in the region”.

Erdogan said during a visit to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, that Ankara is ready to respond by land and air to any Syrian aggression against Turkish forces present in the region.

The newspaper quoted diplomatic experts as saying that the timing of the Turkish president’s visit to Ukraine is not a coincidence and comes at a time that relations with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, are “tense”, due to the latest developments in Idlib.

They joined the conflict to secure their mediterranean base which they lost previously when soviet union collapsed
If you really think that russians are going to rebuild syrian infrastructure...
chinese or arab investors can do it instead but as long as there are western sanctions no sane foreign businessman will risk his money for a shithole country like syria
