Turkey to fast-track draft bill approving troop deployment in Qatar: Officials

Still doubt this deters if invasion was under serious consideration. It's not about the number of troops you can position there, it's the might of that country itself at home and what it can do when those troops are hurt, in this case that is not much given the distance and Gulf states having large air forces.

Qatar does not stand a single chance even against 1 middle-sized Arab tribe in KSA or Iraq for instance. Let alone the entire might of KSA, the GCC and much of the Arab world. It's a joke to even have such a discussion. Everyone saw the reaction of Trump, the US establishment, West, Russia, China, Arab world etc. No support for Qatar whatsoever other than Erdogan (who is usually good at barking) calling for solving this dispute.

I don't think that any invasion (unrealistic as of now although Qatar will eventually be swallowed up by KSA or a pan-Arabian federal state - that is a given) is imminent but Hamad and son will no longer do what they have been doing in the past 20 years. Either that or they will be toppled and replaced by another Al-Thani just like they used to topple each other. Hamad toppled his own father and Tamim toppled his father Hamad indirectly after this clip became public:

Also I don't recall if you remember what King Abdullah used to say to Al-Assad and Gaddafi and what Gaddafi (a few weeks before he died) said about Qatar his former allies. It's almost poetic looking back.

Are you related to Erdogan since you support despotic monarchies like Qatar, empty-headed populists and MB Islamists?

I dont give rat about Qatar and I certainly dont want my government to intervene. Im just analyzing the situation. Considering how large the Saudi royal family is its very probable that you are a distant relative. After all how many Saudis would be both interested in international military matters and could speak English properly?

The feeling is mutual with your Erdogan if it was not clear enough. For all I care you are as relevant to this internal GCC dispute as Papua New Guinea is.

Anyway your comment shows your intellect and ignorance. I therefore consider further interaction a waste of time.

MB elements caused no good anywhere and Erdogan has done nothing but damage and attempt to divide 2 Arab neighboring states. They should invade and go for the big win!

As much as I dislike the Al-Assad regime, I would support him against attempts of foreigners to conquer Syrian and Arab land. Delusional populists like that Georgian Erdogan are trash. He thinks that he can meddle in internal GCC affairs. He will soon realize how irrelevant he is. If Egypt and countless of other lost allies was not enough. Seems that he never learns or his millions of sheep. Suddenly those millions of sheep that usually bark against Iran 24/7 turn pro-Iran and anti-KSA because of their little pet (Qatar) being in big trouble. Blood is thicker than water. That's my philosophy. BTW pet is a wrong word to use about Qatar as they are the party with all the money. Call it minion or partner in crime instead.

Same with Iraq although I do not dislike but rather very much like Al-Abadi who has impressed me beyond belief. What a success story he has been compared to Al-Maliki. You know my opinion of that latter person. So I will end it here.

Well I think Syria is already conquered looking at the number of foreign terrorists flocked in there. I've even read that some places even look like China town because of all the terrorists and their families from Central Asia. I wonder what would happen after the war.

Syria has entered its seventh year in the civil war. However it will be rebuilt and all unwanted elements (whether pro or anti-Assad) will be removed by Syrians themselves. Many countries survived a much greater onslaught. Anyway the Al-Assad regime bear the by far greatest burden here. The regime could have reformed and appointed another leader or removed Al-Assad rule and elected another official in the regime. Or kickstarted a transitional period.
That could have prevented all this mess. It's amazing how stupid he and his regime have been given what happened in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen and elsewhere. Anyway Ba'athis (military regimes in general) usually don't give up easily and are hard to argue with. Martial law existed in Syria for almost 4 decades. That should tell you something.
