Moving tunnel:)There is no lock can stop thieves. There is one more alternative Land mines :(

. . . .
This isnt the answer to my question.

How are land mines gonna help against tunnels? they only work on surface, not underground.
A trench with reinforced concrete should do the trick. You want an effective border security ? Refer to my early post

Guys I've already suggested digging a trench along the border and let the mediterranien sea fill it up. seawater pressure would make digging a tunnel pretty messed up in that case. of course the depth and width has to be 50x50m

Yay free beach to Antep and Kilis :D That would be cool. Fishes and stuf around the border.

. . .
euprathes shield-> turning euprathes sword would probably stop this.

How are land mines gonna help against tunnels?

we need at least 2 km thick minefield better 3

then let them try to make a 3 km tunnel with some serious Uav activity it could be possible to detect them when they go to work on the tunnel.. they have to work month or years for that..

also I dont know how and if there is a technology to discover holes maybe we could have a vehicle wich could scan the earth 10 m on ground than you could detect such things..

but without guards with special radars (on vehicles) on ground and air its meaningless..

.
Need that (Problem, hugely money) :

...
- We don't need 20 km detection range, most of the Syrian towns start just 100-200 meter from the border.
- This is a super expensive system.
- Even a 3 meter concrete wall, cuts down the infiltration, smuggling rate tremendously.
