Turkey rejects Gulf Arab states' demands over its Qatar base

And theres even problem with the conservatives, the thing is they wish the Ottoman times back where Turkey is leading muslim world, i think i dont have to explain how Arabs feel about it. :D

Well there are ultra nationalists in every nation that dream of establishing utopian past glory, As long as they are in the minority it's all good.. Shyt hits the fan when they somehow spread the ideology among the majority, India is such a ticking bomb, And under Ergodan that threat is everpresent in Turkey as well unfortunately

Many who believe in this arent neccessarily ultra nationalists, they think about ummah and that Arabs would welcome a Turkish leadership with open arms, they just dont know it better.

Whats GCC problem with turkey? Knew it they are just bullying qatar under the garb of BS supporting terrorist accusations. While they themselve busy financing groups in syria and libya

Nah i was referring to those believing in resurrecting the Turkish empire.. The pseudo umma is easily shoved down more illiterate populations not the more educated middle and elite classes

.
Qatar is just making a "long term" mistake here. Forget about its dispute with KSA, which I hope is temporary one. Turks are too emotional when it comes to their own military things, and this could drag us into endless disputes and hatred (on top of the existing ones).
I think you are right

Enjoying you guys contributions here

Aren't the majority of Turks already anti-Arabs for many reasons including WWI circumstances (and the separation from the Ottoman empire)? Many Turks say this on the internet at least. I have never heard it from a Turk face to face though.

Anti-Arab might be exaggerated, the thing is Turks themselves are very nationalistic, the historic events are still in mind of many, even if someone is sympathetic to Arabs it doesnt need much to tip it over just as the recent events showed.
Another exsample is the Syrian refugee crisis, at the beginning of the war overwhelming majority was in favor of taking Syrians in but this also changed in recent years, even small incidents can be enough to cause a small scale riot.

So for you as a Turkish nationalist (which most Turks are one way or another), don't you think it is better for Turkey to alienate itself from the ME (the Arabs in particular) and keep looking west? Turkish policies have recently had stronger ME flavor to them that wasn't there in the 1950s-1980s. Don't you think that this also should extend to reducing the number of trade arrangements, and restricting visa requirements?

Thanks for answering. Sorry to keep grilling you with questions. The last one, aren't Turks bothered by the huge number of Arab tourists they get every year? I mean it is really big and will likely increase over the years.

Why bothered? Turks are used to tourists and Arabs make only a fraction of it, other than that Arabs are commonly known to be more spendable than cheap all inclusive hotel Tourist from Europe and Russia.
