Turkey offer Guided missile Frigate to both Bangladesh and Pakistan

.
Guys stop fighting and come back to topic. Which I believe is Ada class TF 2000 corvette/frigate.

  • Some non-Turkish items such as electronic suites (FCR fire control) and weapon fits are Western (phalanx, VLS) which mean 'strings attached'. This is not sustainable option.
  • Can Chinese/Korean options be fitted?
  • Reportedly Pakistan is interested in four boats. Where is the confirmation if any?

Better still to buy all Chinese frigate. China technology is getting more and more advance. All in one intergration and all weather supplier. A country that can build world fastest super computer that even USA cant beat it.

China is definitely preferred in the 'all weather supplier' category. :-)

Just for debate, here are images of Turkish TF-2000 vs. Type 057 China Frigate. As expected information is still sort of speculative....

But I think Bangladesh Navy needs at least a couple of these 7000t heavy frigates as surface fleet leaders.

Provide a source or shut up!!.. Don't defame Bangladeshi's izzat with stupid hatred towards India.. You find love towards those who raped your forefathers and killed them without mercy just because you are darker than them, but you find hatred towards those who relieved you from that pain.. What kind of Bigotry is that..? I seriously couldn't understand the logic behind this..
On topic, don't quote me as a liar.. Prove me where I have lied with a source.. if not STFU...

Your fellow lungi only argued that even if Bengall hits buy Tsunami, it is because of India.. First read the whole conversation and then jump.. don't show your pole vault skills here.. I said what is rightful to be said.. I'll stop involving in Bangladesh thread, when lungis stop poking nose into Indian threads.. Till then Fuk off moron..

Newly-appointed Turkish Defense Minister Fikri Isik and Pakistani counterpart Khawaja Muhammad Asif met Friday in Islamabad to discuss bilateral defense cooperation Anadolu Agency reported

"One of the most important issues between [the two countries] is a deal for T129 attack helicopters," Isik said at a joint press conference held after the meeting.

The deal for the sale of the T129s -- a multi-role attack helicopter co-developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries -- will "further enhance our bilateral cooperation in the defense industry," Isik asserted.

The Turkish defense minister added that plans to purchase Pakistani-made Super Mushshak basic trainer aircraft were still in the pipeline.

He went on to note that the Pakistani authorities, for their part, had requested the purchase of four Turkish Ada-class corvettes (which would be built in Pakistan).

Isik also said that Turkey and Pakistan had begun discussing details of a cooperation deal by which Turkey would help modernize the Pakistani navy's fleet of three Agosta-class submarines.

Isik also met with Pakistani army chief General Raheel Sharif on Friday at Pakistani army headquarters in the garrison city of Rawalpindi.

At the meeting, the two men discussed regional security and defense collaboration, according to an army statement issued after the meeting.

Isik, for his part, voiced his appreciation for the Pakistani armed forces' contributions to the fight against terrorism and promotion of regional peace and security.

ISLAMABAD: The Republic of Turkey has finalised a deal with Pakistan to buy Super Mushak trainers, said a defence production ministry spokesperson.

“The deal is in the last stages of finalisation and is going to be signed very soon,” said Durya Amir, from the ministry of defence production.

Two other defence deals between the two nations are also in the final stages, added the spokesperson.

Development of a fleet tanker for the Pakistan Navy in collaboration with Turkey has also been finalised.

“Launching ceremony of the fleet tanker for the Pakistan Navy is planned for August 2016. The ceremony would be attended dignitaries from both countries,” elaborated the spokesperson.

In a separate deal, an MOU has been signed for the mid-life upgrade of Agosta 90-B submarines of the Pakistan Navy. The upgrades would be undertaken by the Turkish firm STM.

The latest defence contracts between the two countries will further enhance the existing defence ties.

It is not known how many aircraft Turkey would be buying.

The Super Mushshak is an advanced variant of the Mushshak basic trainer, and is produced at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC).

The aircraft is already in service with Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iran and South Africa. Nigeria bought the aircraft in early 2016 and Qatar bought the trainers in June this year.

Basic flight training is provided on the aircraft for aspiring pilots.

Super Mushshak aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force was also put up for static as well as aerial display in the Dubai Air Show last year, with certain nations expressing interest in the aircraft.

The aircraft has a service ceiling of 22,000 feet, and a maximum speed of 268km/h. Range of the aircraft is reported at 814 kilometres.
