Turkey may purchase SU 57 if F 35 not delivered

No you said how much $ we can export to Russia so i asked you how much we exporting to U.S
Please i want you to hit my words.
Please show us what is the volume of Turkish import to USA?
Before implying something think twice and check it Hillybily. You couldnt find in internet this data amk.

.
İ didnt have to mention amount of money. knowhow which Turkey got more expensive than you and your million fellows.
yes, you caught my word. There was written EU and USA. Congrutulation.
Turkey as a country, Selling tomato to Russia, importing İranian gas wouldnt you turn back Turkey from Netherland .
We also want to live and to be partner as you ,an European Citizen.

Why do you make it so complicated and do you feel immediately attacked? You clearly state that Russia can not fill the gap of export because of its economic problems. You also compare the economy between Russia and US. I therefore ask what the export figures are between Turkey and US since US is not the only source for dollars. This can also be filled by doing business with other countries since dolar is an international trade currency.

With who Turkey developed one of the best MALE UAV's in the world TAI ANKA? Turkey have to start from somewhere. For now we have operational trainer, attack helicopter, UAV and we had major problems with a national motor. Well the national Turboshaft motor was ignited for the first time and it would replace the existing ones in T129 Atak and the T625 that will have a maiden flight later this year or some time in 2019. We are moving pretty good right now. I am not sure why are you so pessimistic as we have reached our goals that were for 2018 and we already have the needed technology to develop a lot of complicated platforms. A strategic bomber is out of touch but you made us look like we can't do anything while we are doing everything we said that we would do. If the problems with engine is sorted out then we would proudly call ourselves independent. Also we wait technology and know how fro Rolls Royce and BAE like companies. Antonov is ready to share it with us to.

Thanks for your honest reply and to admit it was never my intention to "make You look like you can't do anything", I'm well aware on what was archived but my point is, the list of projects presented by some (just look at the similar threads at the Key-Publishing forum) it simply impossible: Name me any country which is developing a fifth generation fighter, a supersonic trainer, a transport several helicopters and so on ... the list is endless and most ambitious even for countries with a much higher budget and much higher experience.

I must admit I deeply regret that such discussions immediately run into an emotional battle and barely remain rational: while I - and some others - remain critical and skeptical we are immediately attacked with nationalistic fewer, sometimes even more insulting as if a critical request is simply not allowed. On the other side there are enthusiasts and kids - some would say fan boys - who have no experience and understanding in aeronautics and industry, who think developing is some sort of handy-game or plug and play...

The truth however is surely always somewhere in the middle and only the future will tell what will happen.

Best,
Deino

For now everything is going like expected. Lets look forward to the other projects and their realization.

Maybe China is carrying out similar projects.

Pardon to say so, but do you even think before you post such BS?? Turkey and an own strategic bomber??
I really read a lot of BS here already but this is the prime example of fan-boyism.
It was just an opinion. I know Turkey isn't quite there yet but something I would like to see Turkey work towards. I'm not sure how it's "fanboyism" since that involves some kind of idolising. Unless your implying I'm idolising the Turkish state, in which case yeah im guilty. Proudly so.

It never ceases to amaze me how easily triggered some people get when talk of Turkey aiming for military or economic parity with the West. What is or isn't BS is subjective and I would argue your post is BS. If you really felt the need to say anything at all you could of just said how unlikely that is but instead you had to be a dick about it. That is BS. And it says your an International mod?!

A Turkish equivalent of the B52 bomber would be much more important for Turkey's security than say an aircraft carrier.

Maybe China is carrying out similar projects.

But to be fair, you really want to put China and Turkey on the same level in terms of industrial, political and economic importance which would justify such a wealth of projects including a strategic bomber??

In regard to China as a global power I would say without any hesitation YES and it is justified ... in terms of Turkey as a regional power with rising ambitions especially still shielded by NATO I would rate aims to develop a strategic bomber as an alarming and very much wrong sign.

I misunderstood what you meant.
