Turkey may need to obtain nuclear weapons - Erdogan

Why not Bangladesh?
We have nuclear powered nation in the region too.Besides Bangladesh has already got Bang right there in the name. :P

My only concern for Bangladesh (a fellow Muslim brother country), is geography. For in order to go nuclear, a geographical location that is earthquake proof and flood proof, is imperative. Safety is of primary concern, because if safety and precautions aren't built into the ethos of Bangladesh's nuclear program, then it would suffer. Look at Japan, a country which is renound for it's safety standards, it's precision and discipline. So dear Bangladesh, all the best to you if you pursue your nuclear program. I pray that you are all safe and become powerful, in-sha-Allah.

And remember, without Imaan in Allah Subhanahu Wata'aalah and following the Sunnah of Nabi Muhammad Alaihi Salaat-u-Wassalam, we are nothing.

Thank you brother. I was joking about nukes. Although I'd be very happy if we get nukes considering we have a rogue state & a hindutva country bordering us whose border guards kill our citizens with impunity. Can you imagine how the sanghis would react if there were three nuclear countries in it's borders?
Wishful thinking on my part I suppose. It's nearly impossible for us to get nukes not only because of our geography, but also for social & political reasons.
I pray for Pakistan & Kashmir as you are my fellow Muslim brothers. We may have had our differences in the past, but at the end of the day, us Muslims must stick together. The government of Bangladesh may stay neutral, but the common Bangladeshi Muslims support & pray for our brothers in Kashmir.I pray we never lose our Imaan no matter the situation.
Assalamu alaikum.

Ok why not? A good question. Maybe because of international sanctions? Industrial countries as Vietnam, Turkey can do it within a quick time frame but don’t do because of fear of sanctions.
Actually Not much difficult to make a nuclear bomb. More or less like making shoes. You may laugh. But all you need is you just put all pieces together.

Ok then you let the physics plays its parts.

!!! Bang !!!

another problem is having uranium and other important recourses in the country as it is also hard to get them

True and most of nations are mad about it can any Muslim country deal with it as Pakistan dealt with nukes
Yes, but Pakistan situation was different. Pakistan faced(and still faces) a giant adversary/neighbor India who had already developed nuclear weapons and was(and still is) an existential threat for Pakistan. You have fought 3 big wars and are still embroiled over a territorial dispute which flares from time to time. So Pakistan had little to no choice but to develop nukes by all means necessary. Plus you also had(and still have) the help of a big power like China(with whom you have a shared interest ) as well. All these coupled with the fact that back then even the US wasn't too radically opposed to Pakistan like they are/were with other countries, since Pakistan was a US ally against Soviet allied India. So this also played a role in US being against Pakistan's nuclear policy but not too hostile per se.
So Pakistan's past case is totally different from Turkey's today

Certainly having nuclear fuels at home is very helpful :D

.
Never talk about them if you really want them. India built them that way, we built them that way and look at the ones who made a lot of noise before even starting. Iraq, Libya and now Iran.
All this speech will do is increase scrutiny for no reason and give Trump more reasons to sanction Turkey, apart from the ones he already has like S400.
India tested the bomb in 1974. Pakistan made statement saying that it will also build nuclear bomb even if Pakistanis have to eat grass. All of this shows that it was not secret and yet both countries did get nuclear bomb.

Erdogan needs a topic to distract people from his parties misery right now.

First thought. It seems strange to announce that.

When it comes to Pakistani nuclear weapons do not forget one evil Gulf kingdom who financially sponsored the program
Without them Pakis would still chew grass and wail -Zindabad!

Only takes an idiot to think this. Pakistan had tapped into the black market to get the funds for the program even. You should see the BBC documentary on it.

.
I don't think he is talking about acquiring it for Turkey. He is just talking about the basic principles of equality and the hypocrisy of the world powers.
I think it is his responsibility to obtain Nukes without beating drum . Only Pakistan should not hold all eggs .

And who is the best friend of that evil, right now?

I remember that when someone wrote about this Erdogan statement weeks ago I joked that I hope he talks about a nuke. :D

I know that the chance for it to happen is 0.000001% but if it does I will tattoo Erdogan’s face on my chest right above my heart. :D
I will tattoo Erdogan's face on my forehead

I don't really view this as a hint for Turkey moving on (or aiming) to the development of nuclear weapons. Erdogan knows pretty well that with Turkey signing the NPT and being part of NATO (thus taking advantage of the NU and being part of the nuclear sharing program) this ship has sailed, once and for all.

Pakistan can share nuclear technology with turkey with in seconds. If turkey decides they need it and they are ready to make enemies in the west. Then pakistan has no problem what is ours is theirs.

What is pakistan is turkey.
