What's new

Turkey Istanbul prepares for world biggest airport opening

ok. lets see if they can get clean and proper toilets and completely missing water drinking facilities in present airport to new one.
never , he is professional liar
i can confirm that there is some truth to this, i fly twice a year and use either of the above mentioned airport....
the toilet condition is the airport isn;t up to the mark.... it's comparable to something from a poor asian country...
they used to only accept dollar... however on my last trip... i was hungry because they have changed that over to euro... they simply refused to accept US dollar.... which i found odd....

however who ccares?, once you get on board and get to watch turkish landscapes for 5 minutes... all your misery is gone. have to say, one of the most beautiful country in the world

Actually Mumbai's airport is far better in terms of toilet and drinking water facilities and people are helpful
It's not a dick measuring contest. It's a great feat for Turkey and Turkish members should be happy for that.

.
Dubai Al Maktoum cant compare with Istanbul new airport. It has a 5 far/intermediate parallel runway masterplan. Istanbul new Airport has 6 far/intermediate parallel runway, and one perpendicular runway.

Pal... please write with dignity not like a street vagrant.

An airport may be as large as possible but with basic of human requirements are not there it is a waste of time for a traveller.

Absolutely friend. thank you.

these people get their testostorone up in a knot.... basic toilet facilities and drinking water are a must especially when this is a large hub. i had a very tough time, finally had enough, and went out of the airport where i can get some proper meal and toilet facility.

City is great via metro but regretfully airport is terrible in terms of facilities... not there for shopping.

I just came back from there and happened to travel both atarurk and sabhia gockchen. Both of them were excellent and dint have any such problems.

common problems. i first when with an open mind. sorry man, nothing is worse than stench filled toilets. These are recent reviews. For water, you go to the end of the terminal, there are vending machine where you will find water for $1.

TA is superb no question but airport is a no go.

.
TAV isn’t doing much about the ATATURK airport because it is going to close in a few weeks
TAV just doesn’t care about this anymore

New Istanbul Airport will be the best of the best .......

.
This is reference to present airport - Ataturk; just pathetic toilet and zero water facilities.
I use that airport regularly, never seen such a problem, its currently running at double the original capacity but i havent come across sanitation problems, worst were the long waiting lines at passport controls and luggage.
