On Wednesday, over 20 civilians were killed and 19 others wounded as a result of an explosion in the centre of the city of Manbij, while a US military patrol was passing.

The military council of Manbij, Syria said that militants who had been plotting new terror attacks and who were getting orders from Turkish intelligence have been arrested.

"The antiterrorist squads of the council detained a cell of seven militants — members of opposition groups that participated in Operation ‘Euphrates Anger' and were supported by Turkey, acting in concert with Turkish intelligence," the statement said.

"They planned several explosions and acts similar to terrorist acts, following instructions directly from the ‘Euphrates Anger' groups and Turkish intelligence," the press service added.

Erdogan: Terror Attack in Manbij, Syria May Be Aimed to Influence US Withdrawal
A large number of weapons and ammunition, including grenades, Kalashnikov assault rifles and M6 rifles were seized from the militants during the searches.
A blast rocked a busy street in the Kurdish-held city of Manbij on 16 January. United States Central Command has confirmed that four Americans died as a result of the suicide attack. The Daesh* terrorist group reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack. According to the local military council, the blast occurred near a military patrol of the international coalition in the city.

The news came amid President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw US troops from Syria.

In mid-December, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkey was ready to launch a military operation against the Kurdish-led People's Protection Units in Syria's Manbij if the United States did not remove the militia from there.

To see who is behind the attack you have to look at who will benefit from it ? Who will win the most from getting Americans mad and keeping them for longer in Syria to protect them from the evil Turks (and Iranians too).

Turkey will not benefit from attacking the Americans in a moment when they are preparing to pull out men and armour out of Syria and in a moment of the war where so many interests colide.

Only people who are winning in all this are Israelis and their allies (a.k.a. puppets) from the Gulf and Rojava.

Sneaky attack, non regard for civilian life, and frosty. To me this attack smells Iranian.

Turkey didn’t do it and you explain it very well why.

It could be Kurds themselves doing false flag but Saudi’s died too. It could be that Kurds are that stupid. They did similar things in the past but I don’t see why they would kill such a high functioning Saudi official.

Saudi’s want to create buffer zone in that area with Arab league. Who doesn’t want that the most? To me the first thing that comes to mind is Iran. And Iran is famous for such sneaky attacks.

That having said, if US moves out Turkey moves in. And Turkey will put a bigger army than the current US presence. This is not very advantageous for Iran who wants the whole pie for himself so I think they did this attack so the US stays in that area.

I can’t speculate who was behind it and why he did it but I completely forgot about the Saudi high ranking guy who died in there.
The thing I know is that just minutes after the attack YPG and Assad fanboys on Twitter were already spreading anti-Turkish posts so you might be right too. :D
