No it did once they took devshirme out is when things when to shit.

Jannisaries became corrupt due to their greed and power and this happened due to devshirme being taken out also there used to be cap on the jannisaries but corrupt ottoman authorities allowed it to swell which basically turned the Yeniceri into an army.

Devshirme was the Ottomans ways of Turkifying non Turks.

As long as Turkey does not turkify non Turks the problems will still persist today.

I don't want to turkify non turks there are for now so much kaukasians (armenian Georgian etc) or arabs or kurds or specially many many maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany Greeks and Italians, Romanians and other balkans who are turkified the whole nation is more nonturk than turk and ppl are talking about assimilation let them pass

Our solution to the refugee problem is the Devshirme system.

Forums such as these (military) mostly have the most nationalist and right wingers of a country, most of your country wouldn't go ahead with that neither will the gov, especially not in the 21st century. There is social media and such things will have the entire world isolate you. Had this be a solution it would've been applied on Kurds decades ago when regimes were in power that would find this more acceptable.
