Something smells funny here, might as well be a part of the crack down on the left.
Why would they target an US embassy?

DHKP-C's main target has always been US and her imperial capitalism because they form a Marxsist/Leninist terrorist organization. They killed 2 US military personal and wounded another 20 in attacks to US and NATO tagets in 90s.

They also issued two other suicide bomb attacks, one of which caused a police officer's death in Sultangazi Police Station in 2012. The other one caused 2 police officer's and and an Austurian tourist's deaths and wounded another 25 people in Taksim in 2001.

So, neither suicide bomb attacks nor targeting US is a new thing for these terrorists. They especially choose terminally ill people to make these kinds of suicide bomb attacks.
