Turkey deported jihadist tied to Paris attacks in early 2015

Turkey deported Paris attack suspect Brahim Abdeslam during a failed attempt to join the ranks of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) by crossing the Turkish border into Syria, U.S. media has reported.

Reports by foreign media outlets allege that the two brothers suspected of carrying the deadly attacks on Nov. 13, Salah and Brahim Abdeslam, were questioned by Belgian authorities after the latter was deported from Turkey for suspicions over wanting to join ISIL.

According to unconfirmed reports, Turkish authorities deported 31-year-old Brahim, who blew himself up outside of the Comptoir Voltaire café, early in 2015.

Speaking to the European news website Politico, Eric Van Der Sypt, spokesman for the Belgian federal prosecutor’s office said the brothers were not detained because they “showed no sign of possible threat.”

“He [Brahim Abdeslam] was interrogated on his return, and his brother [Salah Abdeslam] too,” said Van Der Sypt.

However, he could not be detained because “we didn’t have proof that he took part in the activities of a terrorist group,” he added.

Meanwhile, sources from the prosecution told daily Hürriyet that during his interrogation, Ibrahim denied wanting to join ISIL.

“I had no intention of going to Syria, I just wanted to go to Istanbul,” he allegedly stated.

Although Van Der Sypt admitted the Belgian authorities knew the brothers were radicalized and capable of joining ISIL, he said warning French authorities would probably not have made a difference.

“Even if we had signaled them to France, I doubt that we could have stopped them,” he said.

The fact that this thread got no attention just shows that you can't change the opinions of people who are anti Muslim and anti Turkish (both go hand in hand apparently). They just ignore evidence like this. As long as we are not baptized in a church this reality will continue. It's sad but true. I am the only Kurd in this forum, representing Kurds. People here are have no problems teaming up against me. Not that it matters to me but then I get banned for standing up. Am I to support Turkey, a state where killing a Kurd is a national obligation?

In Turkey no need the say the life of Kurds in the West. Kurds in the West living like kings. They have positive discrimination. They have good jobs.

Because of that in east %70 of Kurds don' t paying any taxes even now. Not for electricity, not for water, not for payroll, not for health, not for transport ALMOST FOR THE EVERTYHING we take care off KURDS
We gave full scholarships to your average 15 childrens (specially girls because in your culture girls stay in the home), we make thousands miles roadway, railway, thousands of school, hospitals for the some problem cities.

When I saw that there was a part with capitals I decided to ignore the text. I will just say this. PKK is betraying the Kurds. Turks are destorying Kurdish towns and cities, terrorizing the Kurdish people(not that your media shows that) and PKK asks for humanity. They keep saying that AKP will fall. They keep looking at AKP, not at Turkey because they have this bullshit belief of brotherhood with the people. Turkey is a country which founding pillars are built upon fascism and Turkishness and that applies today aswell.
