Over a year ago I stated that Russians despise Turks and will not hold their end of the bargain. My opponents tried to convince me that Ru
-Turkeys best friend
-Yankee go home
-Incirlik will be closed
Well, looking at Idlib I was right

Then I predicted that a)Turks will not get F35 if they choose S400 b) Turks will be kicked out the program. C) Turks will not be reimbursed for wasted $ Again my opponents believed
-Turkey will get both
-Turkey is too valuable for production i.e without Turkish contribution production will be stalled.
As we can see these days Turks lost valuable fighter jet and got shitty AD system which has yet to see any engagement
Production still going on
No talks on reimbursement though Erdo threatened to walk away from Boeing deal
Last but not least. 32km buffer zone turned out to be just 5km and most likely just air patrol

And now he is begging DT and Johnson trying to enlist their help in Idlib crisis

Anyway here is another prediction. After Idlib, regime will go after Afrin then Al-Bab and Jarablus. With russian help of course. Worse comes to worse Putin will feed him another ice cream

Ragip Soylu is an interesting individual, not saying that he's wrong but he went from pro-government media and being 100% Tayyip loyal to a Saudi sponsored media outlet.

The writer of article barely has knowledge on defence industry products,
The writer of article has seen it on twitter from some sources who is allegedly claiming this earlier today, and bended it in article by referencing "some officials" which is untrue,
buying su-35 makes no sense, its not my main are of interest but buying a few dozens airplanes which wont be able to communicate with your AWACS or ground radar systems or even with backbone of your defence items makes no sense,
no spare parts are common, will increase the costs,
the technicians are not experienced about russian technology which will be additional costs,
we wont able to integrate our commonly used US made AA missiles into su-35 ,ours wont be ready when su-35 were delivered,
we dont urgently need some airplanes ,we have enough in inventory and they are decent enough.

s-400 deal has made a lot of sense, this news doesnt make any sense and morelikely is fake. the author is even not a professional on this field!
stop referencing sabah ,by the way :) its disgracing to see such a new leaned on " some officials" .

@ANMDT We wont get the F35 either tho and better to look sooner for alternatives then later and there isnt much alternatives to begin with. Either Russian or Chinese and i would go for the russian in that case.

Su 35 isn't an alternative for F35.
To replace F-4s we might look for gripens, typhoons.

Su 35 would have been a great fighter if we would have buyed it 15 years before as air superiority fighter against Greeks for example with some tot like access to weapons and radar to eventually put our own codes here some long range air to air russian missiles would be a good choice against Greeks and others in the region

It could have served us until 2035 or a bit longer until tfx that would be than about 30 or 40 years of service if we would have done it before but now? Just for 15 years a new fighter?

The SU-35 does not make sense for Turkey, just like it didn't made sense for China.

In any case, an acquisition would be small and done to get ToT, just like China.
