Aksungur Sİha, which broke a record by staying in the air for 49 hours, went into mass production

Turkish Aerospace Industry (TUSAŞ) General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil made important statements about the latest situation in the programs carried out by TUSAŞ by participating in the "Domestic and National" program prepared and presented by Belma Shahaner on TRT Radio 1 on December 4, 2020.

Temel Kotil stated that the mass production process of the ANKA-AKSUNGUR SİHA system developed through the Anka Sİha system has started. In the description of Kotil,

"We also mass produce our Anka-2, which can carry more loads and stay in the air more. Anka-2 was in the air for 48 hours. Therefore, they can go from the control center to all sides at any point in Turkey, as they can be controlled from a remote location. They're not touring the world today, but hopefully we'll have drones touring the world soon."
statements.

AKSUNGUR aim to stay in the air for 55 hours
Aksungur, which, like ANKA, redesigned many features such as guidance control system, structural, flight mechanics, landing gear, engine and fuel system, caused great excitement by staying in the air for about 28 hours for the first time with full ammunition capacity. Crowning its success with a 49-hour flight, the drone set its course in the shape of a moon and star on this flight at an altitude of 20,000 feet, drawing our glorious flag into the sky.

By staying in the air for 49 hours on its 59th flight, the drone has filled 300 hours of flight time, keeping many prides alive at the same time. For the first time, a model is waiting for the Paris Airshow and a special body awaits in the second phase of the vehicle, which is on display in the IDEF. TUSAŞ also expects to take this more advanced version of AKSUNGUR to the sky soon and stay in the air for 55 hours.

TEBER guidance kit ammunition was thrown from AKSUNGUR SİHA for the first time

T.C. Head of Defense Industry Ismail Demir announced to TSK that a new TEBER Laser Guidance Kit munitions were firing from AKSUNGUR SİHA. "Teber guidance kit munitions havebeen fired from a drone for the first time. THE TEBERproduced by ROKETSAN wassuccessfully fired from Aksungur." statements.

It is seen that the TEBER-82 ammunition did not have a warhead in the shot carried out from AKSUNGUR SİHA. TEBER-82 ammunition has a pocket value of less than 10 feet. In the shot, it is seen that a parallel hit is carried out with the pocket values.

The integration of precision guidance kit (HGK) and Winged Guidance Kit(KGK)developed by TUBITAK SAGE to twin-engine AKSUNGUR and single-engine ANKA+ UAVs developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has also started. AKSUNGUR UAV has a useful load capacity of 750 kg. Our domestic UAVs will have more effective strike capability thanks to the integration of KGK and HGK. The effectiveness of UAVs is expected to increase further with aksungur's entry into inventory.

AKSUNGUR MALE class UAV System: capable of carrying out intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and offensive missions in all weather conditions day and night; EO/IR, SAR and Signal Intelligence (SINGINT) is a Medium Altitude Long-Duration Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System capable of carrying useful loads and various air-to-ground munitions systems. AKSUNGUR will use two twin-turbocharged diesel PD-170 engines capable of reaching an altitude of 40,000 feet, allowing the most demanding operations to be completed.

For a start, the best aeronautical college in the country, NUST at Risalpur, doesn't accept female applicants. So, that's like rejecting 25% of potential engineers.

Other issue is that the capacity of the college is too less. NUST needs to move out of the Airbase. While the mechanical department performs under a proper university environment, aeronautical department hasn't shown much.

We are already making in Pakistan. We have made Burraq and now we are working on developing a MALE UAV under Azm project. That still doesn't mean we won't buy from China or Turkey. Also if we ask Turkey will give TOT.

I think Turkey was working on its techniques and strategy in Syria + Libya

I think they may have now perfected the drone warfare area as demonstrated in Azerbaijan

Turkish drones helped Azerbaijan regain lost territory and call the Azaan in numbers villages for the first time in over 3 decades

Clearly drones demonstrated their worth and also showed that tis area of technology has been mastered by others who are not European

by the looks of it Turket isn't prepared to hold back and is going full swing on drone warfare

Not really, Armenia is a small country with poor resources, need to see how these drones stand against more potent adversaries-"I think they may have now perfected the drone warfare area as demonstrated in Azerbaijan"
