Turkey asks for Pakistan's help in development of next Generation Fighter

In recent months, Turkish and Malaysian officials met various times but It was announced regarding a likely collaboration to establish Turkish silicon based chip production facilities. Malaysia is a good partner of Turkey so It is also possible.
A person told me that Turkey is defining partners of this program in three categories one is A class which will have full right of the Jet and other features Turkey till now is only one in A Class Pakistan can be second than its B class which has KSA in it they would also finance it and will have right to produce as many as they want for themselves. Than their is c class which would right to manufacture spare parts and other things which is Malaysia till now.

Aap ko tou na english samajh ati he na urdu.

Kis ne kaha hai ki Saudia aur Malaysia nai TFX program join kia hai?
That is not part of this news I have other sources as well KSA and Malaysia are both part of this project now. KSA is mainly financier Malaysia will take part on technical level as well as other areas

.
Class A (Production, Export, Technology, Project Leadership)
Class B (Unlimited Domestic Production and Technology, No export right but profit on global exports)

All Class B partners will be permitted to produce the aircraft in unlimited quantities. Their major defence companies will be given plans so that they can create derivative models, although they may not export any of the technology. All will receive 5% of the profit from any TFXs Turkey chooses to export as well as payment for any part production that occurred in their nations.

Class C partners who will be nations given limited assembly licences to produce domestically.

---------------------

Class-A: Turkey (ownership)
Class-B: Malaysia-KSA-Vietnam-(Pakistan)
Class-C: (Candidate: Azerbaijan)

We will see How reliable this source is in future months.

Crap reporting, maybe they invite us to join project.. not to "Help" them as report says :D

Yes I think its a reporting problem, and Pakistan has this problem. Too many reporters and too many channels just no journalistic quality at all.

.
I think Turkey needs Pakistan in following ways .

1. As PAF is already involved in co development of 4+ Gen Jet thunder .Now we have experience of making plane from drawing to reality and then to in actual blocks .It really take some thing special to be visionary interns of where you see your jet evolving.
2. PAF really knows how to make a plan plug & play with min downtime and more availability .Turkey is being producing at TAI but F16 as per approval by Lock Heed Martin.
3. PAF has access to Engine tech via China and more competent Engineering staff due to involvement of our engineers with chinese.
4. Already there are 4th block speculation in which PAC has been working on according to CAD design available so we know where we are .
5 . As Islamic brother country we will never back stab Turkey over any issue since we consider Turkey our brother

. .
I wouldn't term this as a call for help rather a brotherly offer to join a project which will definitely benefit both countries in the future.
PAF may have vast experience in this field but TuAF is no less.

Found this from 2010:

Abdullah Gul for joint defence production projects between Pak- Turkey

ISLAMABAD, Jul 14 (APP): Turkish President Abdullah Gul on Wednesday stressed the need to initiate joint defence production projects between Paksitan and Turkey. He expressed these views in a meeting with a Pakistani defence delegation, led by Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar who called on him, says a fax message received from Ankara.

Mr. Gul said the existing strategic partnership between Paksitan and Turkey provides an opportunity for joint ventures. He showed keen interest in Paksitan’s JF-17 Thunder aircraft, which he was told, is a multi-role combat aircraft equipped with state of the art modern technology and is manufactured according to present day defence requirements.

Referring to the unprecedented economic growth that Turkey has been achieving over the last couple of years, the Turkish President said “We want the same type of economic development in Pakistan also and are prepared to help our brotherly country in every possible manner.”

“I am personally motivating Turkish investors to invest in Pakistan’s energy sector,” said Gul.

Pakistan’s coal reserves are third largest in the world and production of electricity from coal would be a viable project for overseas investors, he maintained.

The Turkish President also desired to expedite work on the US$20 billion railway project that will connect Pakistan with European market through Turkey.

Ch. Ahmed Mukhtar thanked the Turkish President for personally monitoring Turkish investors’ projects in Pakistan.
He appreciated the level of hospitality extended to his delegation and hoped that the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey shall be further enhanced in every field.

Turkish Minister for National Defence Mr. Veedi Gonul and Paksitan’s Ambassador to Turkey Tariq Azizuddin were also present in the meeting.

And this old thread about it = Turkey shows interest in JF-17 Thunder

. . .
Big YES to joint together with Turkey and their innovative. Honestly I admire their advanced technology more and heavy research/money than Pakistan's lack of design concept and low budget.

.
Technical cooperation would be ideal. However what worries me is the nature of the "Engine" which drives the fighter jets

If its coming from USA then the project will not fly as they are not dependable suppliers

I favor a 100% plane that is independent of any third party

. . .
We will work all together in KAZAN . We do already at Tübitak , Tai, Aselsan and .....Roketsan for sure

Why those Indians are so strongly provocating as Guests on a Forum from Pakistan ?
Brother you don't understand the kind of enmity that the Indians have with us. It so deep rooted that a kid born in India instead of crying after coming out of his mothers womb curses and belittles Pakistan. We have lived with these people for a 1000 years at least and no one knows their mindset better than us. So don't be surprised. Ours is a rivalry forged in the depths of hell fire itself. And in the end one of us is going to have to go. Its just a matter of time. We know it, the Indians know it & we're both always preparing for that final showdown. "Neither can live while the other survives" is the prophecy here as well.
