First of all, I don't hate Jews at all. Antisemitism is a crime against humanity. I rather remember our very well integrated and proud Jewish community in Turkey. I miss them. Seeing jewish Turks migrating to Israel made me anything but happy.
Having said that, refreshing our diplomatic relationship with Israel is nothing to be ashamed of. But we have to be careful. We shouldn't risk our relationship with the huge Arabian world.
Arabian consumer markets are simply too important for our export industry (including our emerging defence industry).
This won't upset the Arab world, this is Turkish-Israeli matter that was between them to resolve. Resuming diplomatic relation isn't contingent upon ending diplomatic ties with another party, in this case a Palestinian party. Turkish role with Hamas/Palestinian area of influence was recommended by the US as well, so it's something that will remain, providing mediation between two parties that is helpful. So ties with Palestinians will be unaffected, and diplomatic relations with Israel will go back to pre-flotilla levels as it was. Nothing wrong with that. Some people make it seem bigger than it really is.
The only thing that might happen, is one of the camps in the Arab world will use this to attack AKP party and brandish them as frauds/hypocrites and what not.
