Opinions?

Read the post that i quoted, the point is he claims that Turkey doesnt import much from Iran while in reality it imports way more than it exports. So you know, even current account deficit is calculated without energy consumption scale on some point. I think we are at a better position with Iran on trade. It's goes with Russia too
Yeah, tell me why Turkey imports more from Iran than it exports?
Türkçe biliyor musun ?

Well bottom line is the trade between Turkey and Iran benefits Iran way more in contrary to what you claim.Thats because this chart shows with gas and oil.

I wish there was, but realistically this is all temporary and in line with temporary geopolitical events. The Barzani referendum, the coup etc.
Still, seeing that war fantasies between Turkey and Iran are non-existing is something good, you must admit.
At the end of the day, only the trade balance counts, thus, you're right.
Look at these figures:
Denge = Balance
Speaking from our perspective: our trade relationship is always in favor of Iran.
However, this has changed last year (2016) for the first time:
If we compare Jan.-Aug. 2017 to Jan.-Aug. 2016, we'll see that our imports from Iran has (again) risen sharply.
Still, we have one big problem in our comparison. In the past, Turkey had helped Iran undermining the Western sanction regime by dealing with gold (import/export). This is the reason why the Turkish-Iranian trade is so extremely volatile.

Thats because most of your exports are not shown on the list because of the sanctions.
Im originally from a city in northwestern Iran that borders Turkey. There are thousands of Turkish trailers coming here every day. Have you ever seen an Iranian trailer in Turkey? If you ever visit the markets here you'll see its flooded with Turkish products. And Turkish products in Iran is much cheaper than in Turkey. Do you know why? Because when we sell you oil, you pay in Lira, we then spend the same money you paid us on Turkish goods. Or Turkish gold, and that doesnt show as export.
Simply not true.
We have never paid for Iranian gas with Liras. That's nearly impossible.Yes its 100% true but believe whatever you want
Dude Im, telling you this is 100% true, like every Iranian living in Turkish border cities knows this. How else are you going to pay us?We have never paid for Iranian gas with Liras. That's nearly impossible.
We dont trade directly in gold, you buy in lira and its up to us to chose if we want to buy gold or goods with lira.^I heard also something similar that we both trade and also in gold but didnt know we traded in lira
