I have seen tibet in documentaries, it would be insane to invade such terrain.read it in history book, only 5 men made it back, they too were executed to keep the result of the expedition "secret"
You mean thisonly ranjit singh conquered parts of Tibet from south asia
Idealist and ambitious muhammad bin tuqhlaq led qarachil expedition in 1329 to conquer tibet that ended up in disaster. Does any one has detailed material on this particular event?
I had read that he died in the Sindh. Please correct me but was he of Turkic ancestry?
Yes tuqhlaqs were turks but their place of origin and other details is unknown. It is speculated tuqhlaq was not a tribe, it was name of founder of dynasty.I had read that he died in the Sindh. Please correct me but was he of Turkic ancestry?
