Have you ever heard of "village Tunisia" or "Tunuslar" in Turkey ...?
The village of { Tunuslar} and means " village of Tunisians " in the far north of Turkey in the highlands ( at an altitude of 1400 meters )
The village dates back to the mid-19th century , specifically the period of the Crimean War ( 1853-1856 ) between the Russian Empire on the one hand and the Ottoman Empire and its allies Britain and France
And Tunisia has participated in this war , { Ahmed Bey } send army of 20 thousand troops under the command of { General Rashid } , and was the primary objective of Ahmed Bey to participate in this war is to review the new army against the French and demonstrate its capabilities to deter and to show Tunisia has a modern army able to defend it in case of greed gone too far and French wanted occupy Tunisia as it did in Algeria ( 1830 )
The village Its population are descended from parents of Tunisians , who were originally a battalion of soldiers , cut off from the rest of the Tunisian army and lost in the mountains and forests and snow closed the pathes and they lost their way back , they built huts on the 1400 meters high and got married and settled by the inhabitants of the mountain
Tunisian flag flutters to the day in the top of the mountain , also still exist Tunisian soldiers cemetery in the center of the village and their leader Colonel [ Mohammed al-tunisi]
And this region remained to this day in the name of Tunisia , a witness to the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Turkey and Tunisia.
