Lol your country has been trying this for 33 years mate... I hope the "grand ceremony" is up to date... Would hate to see 70s decore in 2012 ;)

.
Mate I have no idea what I follow. I follow the following pattern:

* I read Quran for guidance *the only thing I know will not be corrupted*
* In view of *God guaranteed only the truthfulness of Quran till the day of judgement* THEREFORE I don't trust or believe in any Hadith. I have a firm belief that our cerebral cortex has not evolved to a point wherein we can keep our own biases quarantined without prejudice that these Hadith are also not corrupted.
* I try to understand the scripture in light of the present not the past.

*In general I believe that Islam is a set of guidelines to keep a society *as a whole* in check. It was brought in to control a whole set of people between IQ range of 80 to 130. To keep law, order and morals of a *society* (a herd) in check.

Anyone with an IQ of 140+ can make a judgement call on his own. This is where I stand.

That sounds like a good plan !

For me these are the principle I adhere to :

1) If you come across as holier than thou, then its my prerogative to shove my fist up your *** !

2) If you haven't a clue about anything baring what the Molvi Sahib told you then please 'talk to the hand !' but if you insist I'll do (1) again.

3) I've gone from Atheism to Agnosticism and back to Islam so if you think that you can foOk with me with your cyclical logic then please buy me a Sandwich first otherwise I've got no stake in listening to you blabbering like an idiot for the next 15 minutes ! :D

4) I've taken Socrates's quote to heart : As for me, all I know is that I know nothing ! *and added my bit - and you know even less than that :P*

And 5) When it comes to Pakistan and Muhammad Ali Jinnah - All my logic goes out the window and if you abuse either, I'd make a rabid dog look like an innocent puppy ! :D

Cheers...!

Oh yes KSA is a country of extremist ideology. It must be destoryeeeeed. Oh wait a second, that is only in Iran with the regime trying to sell why should there be hostility against KSA to begin with.

Q:Why Mr.Khameni did we make ourselves hostile with KSA??

A:Ummm...ummm... mmhmm,, oh oh oh extremist ideology yes write that one down extremist ideology. What else what else what else?? ummm, ummm, ummm oh yeah they have good relations with the west say they are puppets this is a good one write that one down too. Ummmm, ummm, ummm we will think of something else soon, Stay tuned everybody.

Mosa if you ever come to Pakistan I'll have you meet a couple of guys who were associated with the Iranian Cultural Centres here ! An eye-opener for many but because I don't have any evidence barring anecdotal ones *I don't work for the Interpol or the CIA *, I usually don't mention it !

Some Iranians are either ignorant, or playing ignorant. The Iranian regime plays the sectarian card where it sees fit, but in Azerbaijan (Shia majority), it supports Armenia (Christian majority). Because they see in Tunisia a small Arab country that has only recently got rid of its long time secular extremist dictator, they want to spread their sectarian agenda there to try to destabilize the country and try to keep them weak, so that Iran can claim or continue to stake its role across the Middle East.

The reason Iranian regime is so much closer to India (a Hindu majority country) and Pakistan, than to Bangladesh, Malaysia or Indonesia is also a sectarian one. Simply because the Iranian regime's extremist sectarian propaganda turned many supporters of the regime away from them after their true faces were uncovered. They are still respected for their stand against the West, and drive for self-sufficiency, scientific advancements, but their true face has been unmasked. Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and elsewhere should stabilize, grow and advance whether the Iranian regime feels aggrieved or not. If they feel the Iranian regime is trying to advance its nationalist or sectarian agenda, they should take any necessary measures to curb them.

So you belong to my kind :D

Well, I didn't go into the specifics before, but mine are rather simple.

1. Don't hurt any of God's creation.
2. Don't get into anyones business. They have their own heaven and hell.
3. Beautiful people are beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. God loves them, else why would he make them so attractive? Procreate with them, as much as physically possible! :D
4. Accumulate wealth. As much as you can. Simple.
5. If a day comes, regrettably, that you have to get even with someone. Get even with him financially, no need to go medieval on him/her. Deprive him of his wealth.
6. Love children unconditionally. They are angels.
7. Help students who need help.

Thats about it. I think, I'm rather a much less-complicated person that thou! :D

I am sure we live in conspiracy theories, I think those are enough:

You call others ignorant, while omitting/not knowing certain facts... Hmm what word could be used to describe that?

Iran is neutral on Armenia-Azerbaijan issue. Also why don't you mention why our relations with Azerbaijan aren't so good? Could it be that for 20 years since the time of Elchibey's presidency, Azerbaijan has been advocating for seperation of Iranian lands? Including Iranian lands as their own on official books and maps. Passing off Iranian monuments as belonging to themselves in places such as Eurovision... If any country had such eyes for Bangladesh, would you be their friend?

You are free to draw all the wide conclusions about the Iranian Foreign policy that your limited knowledge allows. But this is about fricking Sufi music, some of which predate Iranians' conversion to Shiism. That's why I accuse these people of being uncultured, narrow-minded and downright racists...

The possible candidates at the moment are:
1. Croatian, who I love to bits. (have been dating her on and off for over 5 years)
2. A Norwegian, whom I also love to bits. (same as above but 2 years)
I am confused at the moment. We shall see!

If we discuss those topics, it would probably last a few days because Iran's involvement in not only Azerbaijan, but Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and elsewhere is too obvious to be ignored.

1. Did Iranian regime help USA in the toppling of Saddam Hussein in Iraq and Taliban in Afghanistan?
2. Does Iranian regime enjoy friendlier relations with Armenia or Azerbaijan?
3. Azerbaijan was snatched by Russia from Iran, and has a Shia majority. Why is not the Shia theocracy crying for the suffering of its people there, trying to topple that regime? Why is not Iran opening up its land to the innocent Shia victims of Zionist agents like Aliyev? Is it because Iran's appeal to Shia only works when it involves spreading influence and control, but knowing that Moscow will not let go of its control of Azerbaijan, Iran gave up on the idea of controlling Azerbaijan?
4. This thread is about Tunisia. Let's discuss that topic.

Iranians and Arabs, need to let go of the past (anything before the invention of internet). Enough is enough. Rest of the world is progressing while you guys are still fighting like children. Isn't everyone tired of the god damn bloodshed. God knows who is right or wrong. Whoever he is, he will be pissed nonetheless, seeing WTF is happening on this beautiful planet. Each and everyone of you needs to shove a Xanax down your throats, and go on a cruise!

Ahh...don't worry Don Juan and Casanova all rolled into one - Armstrong the Love Doctor, is at your service ! :smitten:

On a serious note, if you'd take my advice : Pick the one with whom you can see yourself starting a family one day...growing old one day ! Someone who'd be willing to be in for the long-run with all the bumps along the way.

1. Saddam no. Taliban yes.
2. Armenia, for reasons I mentioned in above post. Doesn't mean we are not neutral though.
3. We have opened doors for Azerbaijan republic nationals. There are hundreds of thousands of people originally from Azerbaijani republic in Iran. Famous examples include singer Googoosh's father, IRCG Chief Commander Yahya Safavi and painter Aydin Aghdashlu.
4. You are the one who deviated the topic in the first place.
