TUHP-149 Test Flight

Agusta offered this helicopter for Turkish utility helicopter tender (121). If Turkey choose this copper, In accordance with Agusta's offer;

-Turkish TAI, Roketsan, Havelsan and some other institues will be involved in Tuhp-149 development program.
-Turkey will own %50 share of TUHP-149,
-All Mainbody, Softwares, Transmissions, Gears, Avionics, Communication systems and hydrolic systems will be produced in Turkey.
-Turkey is going to export this helicopters in cooperation with Italy at international markets.
-Turkey can modify the coppers in accordance with our own neccessities.

The desicion will be announced into public in 06.01.2010 by Turkish SSM... The hard rival of Agusta is Skorsky BlackHawk in this tender... My Favorite Utility Helicopter is TUHP-149... Forever !!!

Cabatli,

the TUHP149 will be assembled, tested and delivered from Turkish facilities so it seems like Turkish industry will be also responsible for final assembly for all TUHP149 helicopters to be supplied to Turkey.

That should be good for the country given the deteriorating economic climate.
