Indeed the threat is bigger but what I am seeing is like deep cleansing inside and secure the house first then after we can focus on weak points used for trespassing. These implementations needs time and mostly money as well though a bit slow but steadily we are moving in right direction for such results. The task was long due but on other hand, we have limited budget and such ops costs a lot, a way more than what we have been aided, that we expressed on different forums in different times as well that it costs us more than we have been given while the aid during most corrupted democracy is never reached to the office as it was assigned to (you may understand). The security of the border and such points would be done gradually but as we have more enemies around than friends, it may need sometime and by the idea of CPEC, we are paving the way for good and needful results not just based upon future economy plan but by realizing the security and acquiring the necessary. These types of thoughts, approaches and write-ups are not shared unnecessarily but are speaking the mind of the adversary. Also, there is a gap to fill by strong diplomacy that we lack too much and by cutting the Afghans totally, will be like giving more space to the rivals to fill the space that we cannot afford anymore so we have to adopt a strong active diplomatic plan as well as support to security agencies so in the end a strong economy would be in favour of us all. US is aware of Mullah FM sitting is Afghanistan but as there are good terrorists for them and they it, we have to secure our walls and doors so cannot be damaged by such and on other hand by strong diplomatic front, at least we can highlight the issue in more possible manners.
Sir for Afghanistan to be peaceful ANA has to go. Now question remains how far are we willing to remain committed to the policy of non interference? I mean ANA has made it clear that they will go to any extent against Pakistan. This was the reason i stated that we only welcome those Afghans that clearly denounce India and ANA. There should be a carrot and stick policy. Those Afghans that will denounce will get the carrot while others will get a danda and not stick. Dont you think our passive approach is only further strengthening the believes of our enemy that Pakistan cannot do anything and they can take us for granted.
Though there is no doubt that such ops are going to be costly and Pakistan does not have a economy like that of the powers sitting there but there is a point that we can be taken too before we say its enough and we get back to them with whatever we have got. Right now i dont know how much we as a nation can take before our elders those in a position of power say its enough.
Pakistan has been relatively peaceful as compared to the past and whatever is now happening is because of Afghanistan and Indian nexus there. The next step for Zarb-e-Azb should include Afghanistan. My 2 cents.
