No, that's not a reply man. We shouldn't be licking anyone. Do you want Pakistan to become a 'power'; or at least self-reliant?
:coffee:

And where i said i don't want Pakistan to become self-reliant? But becoming self-reliant doesn't mean that one should become a**hole and forget the friends who helped in troubles.

Pakistan is selling itself out to China, and all Pakistanis are doing is chanting China-Pak friendship songs as if China is doing anything out of pure love for the people or something. What's amazing is that Pakistanis seem to be completely blind to this. No sane country would just let any foreign entity take hold of the country in the manner Pakistan is.
Pakistan will pay heavily the price of selling out, just we are doing so for selling out to the US in the past (and present).

Don't read too much into this. This is scare-mongering tactic deploying by the media recently as the role of media has been quite clear regarding Pakistan, Pakistani army and ISI.

China will play vital role for Pakistan in the upcoming years including wars. Remember, Naimatullah Shah (R.A) about Delhi being part of Pakistan one day; only because of help of overseas, China, Turkey, Afghanistan. China will play main role for Pakistan in the future, Insha Allah.

Due to political influences, Pakistan cannot help itself at this moment, especially with the fact that if it comes to investment like Kaala baag dam, there comes the interference from local.

I think that letting China help Pakistan is not same as Pakistan is selling itself to China, rather China is getting involved in the development of Pakistan which will guarantee no local interference from Pakistan side for now.

When Wen Jiabao visited Pakistan More than 30 billion dollars worth of deals were signed. Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang was awarded the Nishan-e-Pakistan by President Asif Ali Zardari on his arrival in Pakistan. And when ever Pakistani officials visits china they receive warm welcome from government and the Chinese people and similarly when Chinese officials visits Pakistan they gets a great welcome too. I have to agree the over indulgence or focus on relations should be entirely secondary to increasing our power by ourselves.

Partners, brothers if you like and friends are welcome but to ask them to do it for us is beyond shameful.

What we have sold to China? will you elaborate rather than just ranting like Indians?

Look, why can't we develop Gwadar ourselves? Why can't we mine our own ores, instead of allowing the Chinese to do it for us?

Pakistan and china friend ship is stronger than iron. Deeper than pacific and bigger than k2. And I'm sure as time passes our relations will strengthen further more. And there is no power in world which can divide us. Insha Allah..
That picture has been posted many times before...........but the question is, is the soldier on the left Pakistani?........no-one could confirm.

LOL!!! I thought you have some genuine points.

1. Is contracting development of port is selling country? look at portfolios of top 5 port operators.

2. Is contracting mines is selling country? You should read more about mining business

Now why we are not developing by ourselves.... even a kid can tell you that we don't have money and lacks capability as well.

Ahhh Najam Sethi - the man of many hats; Journalist, Care-taker Chief Minister and Chairman of the Cricket Board.

I wonder whats next in store for him - Chief of Army Staff ?

he really is a man of many hats

like hussian haqqani - the guy who went from being pro-Jamat Islami to pro-Nawaz (he was involved in a plot to oversee the murder of benazir bhutto years back, when she was in a tit for tat with PMLN....then he became a PPP stooge.

As for Chinese - our bilateral relations are important, on trade and defence level. Great to see Pakistani students learning Chinese/Cantonese and the latter learning Urdu.

there's always room for more growth. We share common interests in the region, and our friendship goes back decades
