what's wrong with the planet...x is ally of y...and y is enemy of z, hence it make x the enemy of z as well...why x, y & z, all can not be friend among each other, instead of betweens?

Pakistan had only China while india has Russia, the whole of Europe and lately uncle sam and israel. But even then india cannot stand on her own.

I absolutely agree, what I was trying to say is more along the lines of this China-Pakistan friendship being a temporary one, one which will break easily at the first signs of non-co-operation, much like US and Pakistan.

Not really ! The relations aren't even remotely comparable to that of Pak-USA ... The ties with Beijing go beyond the usual co-operation ... Both Pakistanis and Chinese have mutual respect to each other ... Pakistan came to China's rescue when it was isolated from the rest of world ! So no wet dream of breaking it ever , since China hasn't ever embargoed us
