Trump, Take Note: Top 10 Countries Receiving U.S. Aid & How They Voted on Jerusalem

You clearly don't understand how foreign policy works.

Israel understands our rule position from the perspective of international diplomacy. These things take time. Till the time the wannabe-mughal Congress was in power, it was a system designed to appease Arab and Islamic world and play the second fiddle to these regional powers.

There are more than one indicators where we are moving away from Palestine. Modi has shown it more than once and we and Israelis are fine with it.

BS. Don’t give me this foreign policy face-saving excuse.

Time? All you have to do is vote for Israel! That requires no time, but rather loyalty which you clearly lack.

You are creating all sorts of excuses because you cannot speak the truth.

You depend on oil rich Arab nations. You can’t displease them. You chose them over Israel. Simple.

You are under the illusion you can buy your way out by fabricating excuses. Time and foreign policy are lame excuses. There are countries who voted for Israel and stood their ground. You didn’t.

Like I said, India has conveniently picked both sides. Pleasing both parties. It is over buddy. You’ll have to change your ways. This hypocrisy won’t work anymore. Sucking up to all sides.

Israel demands loyalty. It’s either Israel or the other side.

Ahead of the Thursday UN General Assembly vote denouncing U.S. President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, Trump threatened Wednesday to slash U.S. aid to nations that vote in the resolution's favor.

"They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they vote against us," Trump said. "Well, we're watching those votes. Let them vote against us. We'll save a lot. We don't care."

The United States is "asked to pay for the privilege of being disrespected" at the UN, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley told member states ahead of a vote on Jerusalem, that passed in the General Assembly.

How can Egypt get aid fund so big?? Bigger than Iraq? Once the wealthiest people in Mediterrania, became so poor that need USA aid so big. What is wrong with Egyptian???

And Jordan too... It's more likely Israel bribe the Jordan thru Jewish American. Lol

Pakistan too??? Are they deserve it? Are Pakistani so poor and desperate?? Or it's actually part of Afghanistan campaign?

Do you even know the concept of voting or do you simply press a button and come? This isn't some village panchayat elections we are talking about. Every vote and every decision comes after a serious consideration. Though personally I am disappointed that we voted in favour of a fake nation and not for our friend, there must be some other considerations at the top level which neither you nor we can say.

Rich arab nations are also friendly to us.. for the moment and for that, we need to adjust a bit. Depend on them? We are one of their top oil buyers and pay them hard cash. They invest in our businesses and yield results. It is called mutual benefits.

Israel doesn't demand anything. It is simply in your imagination.

The reason they continue to support us is because they know that in a democracy, narrative change takes time and they know that our foreign policy will eventually be there.

it is more like Nikki Haley a.k.a Nimrata Randhawa the ABCD (american born confused deshi) at UN should take note and eat it.

.
That "aid" is given in order to keep Taliban at bay by engaging them in the difficult terrain of Afghanistan/ Pakistan border.. without aid, no security to US soldiers operating in Afghanistan.

US may stop payment to any other country, not Pakistan.. Pakistan has put up a calculated response in the UN..

.
These countries can all do without this so called "aid". After this petty money is dished out don't forget you have to do what they say like good boys n girls.

Question is do they have honest leadership to reject this pittance.

Trump said we'll make america great again. Niw you see his game plan :p

.
Trump should carry out what he promised now. At least announce no new aid packages, let the current ones die out with time. Immediately halting the current (commited) ones might be over-reaction....but even that I can understand.

Doubt its going to happen though, the state department will resist it....and Trump has far more important battles to deal with at the moment.

do you think US gives aids from the goodness of their heart and they dont get anything back, example what it shows as aids for Pakistan is the transit fees, you think Pakistan will let them use their roads for free

.
LOL at the notion of America "helping" other countries with the very money that they print.

If the money is capable of being exchanged for goods and services on the ground be it inside the US or outside (seigniorage buffer, which the US still has plenty of)... it is still significant aid.

There are no absolutes regarding fiat money (0 or 100%)....it is tied to the fiscal volume of liquidity and the management of such by the issuing authority.

Blessing in disguise for the Chinese and Russians if he does, Bar two rest are all in the Middle East and Africa

I doubt the Chinese and Russians will really take over what USAID and other state dept organs do.

The Chinese are more investment (than aid/grant) focused (and will remain so for a long time given their mercantile focused objectives compared to globalism, sometimes they intersect, mostly not really) and the Russians mostly do not have the flush liquidity with the Ruble (esp after that massive earlier tanking of value they are still recovering from) to commit aid on the scale the US will leave behind (they can afford some direct military intervention/help like in syria and loans commited to arms buying, thats really about it).

do you think US gives aids from the goodness of their heart and they dont get anything back, example what it shows as aids for Pakistan is the transit fees, you think Pakistan will let them use their roads for free

USAID et al. is definitely part of the globalist (UN) approach which is toxic to begin with, including the example you are giving.

I never said this is largely "goodness" driven (though some elements might have started out that way). I am just commenting that its good there is now a domestic pressure in a major source itself to reduce one major fuel line into sustaining the cancer that is foreign aid. People over time (on both sides) must realise it hurts the donor and recipient (like the actual common people rather than the elites and politicians that act as virtue signalling intermediaries) in most cases long term.

All these votes, that is just that "vote". Nobody have balls to do anything substantial action against US embasy in jerusalem.

And neither is trump going to withdraw the aid money given to these countries coz that will alter the foreign policy of US. At best he might reduce it a bit.

So on the gorund nothing will change, US embassy in jerusalem is to stay, and this issue will gather dust as time passes by.

Egypt and Jordan will get their money because Israel will insist on it. It's protection money to not harm Israel. And Afghanistan will get their cut too. How can US remain in Afghanistan if you refuse to pay of the mobsters who run Kabul?

We've seen this kind of knee-jerk reaction before. But once reality sets in, he will offer a more nuanced response.

.
Pakistan too??? Are they deserve it? Are Pakistani so poor and desperate?? Or it's actually part of Afghanistan campaign?

Aid or donation is nothing. It's no free lunch. It's a tactic to control the recipient's policies and to get influence over there.

Regarding Pakistan, they give us reimbursement not aid for using our logistics to supply their troops the equipment.

Based on US logic, China give US 1T Dollar loan and so do Japan, US must follow their policy and they both say NO. US need to follow her own policy first.
