Trump says India tariffs on American products are ‘no longer acceptable’

You are talking about your general experience. I am talking about the specific way in the US a large number of Indian IT companies are leeching the US public, through outright fraud and lies.

I own a small IT company and we made the same mistake - good help is hard to find. But the issue with the Indian IT companies in the US is different - it is outright fraud. Fraud were the teach fresh graduates how to lie and make fake references. Then send them to do the "job" that they will do in a mediocre way. Ultimately, this cheats Americans from getting jobs that they deserve and will be good at.

Mainly because they can hire these substandard frauds who are building a business based on carefully fabricated lies, far less money than their qualified American counterparts.
i understand.. many of indians are kachra coders.. crap coders.. good ones are v v scarce. they are just taking advantage of their huge population. i have worked with them a lot and have no desire to speak or work with them. although i keep encountering them every day ..
are you in states? what sort of IT company you have.? want to make connections in europe ha?

.
Looks like President Trump is seeing the shadow of Robert Clive!!! After conquering a large part of India Clive failed to show the money, promised by Marawari/Parsi/Jain etc. businessmen, to the East India Company shareholders and had to commit suicide....

In the states they are often called "monkey programmers" not because of any racial issues, but because of the lack of understanding about what they are coding. I am somewhere in Asia ;)

Yeah why not Trump.

I got my post deleted for insulting 925boy who got what he had coming, a look in the mirror...fact that India is the biggest begger country of USAID.

I just colorfully reminded the exalted highness with intelligence quotient that rivals his cloudy PM that India is the receiver of biggest sum of 65+ Billion Dollars and counting... in Economic USAID in the history of USAID...

Those who accuse Pakistan are themselves brought up on economic scraps of USAID all along, lol, $65 Billion and counting worth of AID:

Did the world stop in 2012 like the mayans predicted ?

Another thing Trump should look into is how Indian IT companies are basically fraudulent establishments. Hundreds of Indian IT companies build fake CVs and lie and cheat their way to put Americans out of jobs and to put unqualified Indians with FAKE "job experience" all over the US. One example of such a company - Sysmind LLC. And there are hundreds of them, if not thousands.

They actually teach fresh grads how to lie about every detail and help them build fraudulent "experiences".

you want to be careful here. trump might appreciate indians that considering how many con jobs he ran

Oh sorry I didn't think it needed school boy level explanation... No?
65 Billion Dollars And counting isn't humiliating enough for you already, lol. It's official USAID data.

By the way, you do know of a website called google, lol, Mayans predicted it would help dimwits immensely, looks like another wrong prediction.

For year 2019 I doubt India is number one anymore

for the year 2014

Don't take it to heart dear. Records are there to be broken but India's record is no small feat, let's have another look at the humiliatingly embarrassing and a figure surpassing all countries in highest amount of US economic aid to India, $65+ Billion :

Shouldn't India have gotten 7 - 8 times what Pakistan did (given population) for the argument to hold?

It seems you got something like 5 times per person than India did....so what is the 5 times (concerning you) for what you just described for India?

Also you understand aid makes up for the trade deficit lot of developing world had with US and developed countries...as a requirement to keep exchange rate stable in the west?....given investment flows just were not there like there were after cold war ended.
You are using logic against hate-mongering trolls, futile exercise dear.

I don't own a small company, but work for one of the largest capital equipment manufacturers in the world, We do not use small consultancy firm for "good help", but most of our IT infrastructure operation is supported by TCS India, Most of the enterprise tools is supported again by TCS, our QMS is supported by Reliance ETQ, and not just for NA, but alo EME&EA operations as well as AP region. We haven't had any problems. Same is the story with most large corporations here in the US.

For IT companies like say a TCS, you don't get to a $21 Billion revenue with shoddy work.

India is not number 1 anymore. Israel and Egypt are number 1 and 2. Pakistan is closing in on India. Not bad for a country 1/7 the population of India

if we stay in Afghanistan for another decade Afghans would be displace both India and Pakistan

Official foreign aid data - look here

A shining example of Shoddy Indian work.

Ignore the hate mongering accusation leveling Indians who have no answer to my quoted fact that India continues to receive the biggest total sum of Economic USAID $65 Billion and counting since its independence. Your also make a valid argument @Armchair

You are right about the Indian firms leeching US public, the shining example is Boeing 737 Max software outsourced to Indian subcontractors that resulted in shoddy code that caused the aircrafts to crash.

Boeing’s 737 Max Software Outsourced to $9-an-Hour Engineers

It remains the mystery at the heart of Boeing Co.’s 737 Max crisis: how a company renowned for meticulous design made seemingly basic software mistakes leading to a pair of deadly crashes. Longtime Boeing engineers say the effort was complicated by a push to outsource work to lower-paid contractors.

The Max software -- plagued by issues that could keep the planes grounded months longer after U.S. regulators this week revealed a new flaw -- was developed at a time Boeing was laying off experienced engineers and pressing suppliers to cut costs.

Increasingly, the iconic American planemaker and its subcontractors have relied on temporary workers making as little as $9 an hour to develop and test software, often from countries lacking a deep background in aerospace -- notably India.
...

Rockwell Collins, which makes cockpit electronics, had been among the first aerospace companies to source significant work in India in 2000, when HCL began testing software there for the Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based company. By 2010, HCL employed more than 400 people at design, development and verification centers for Rockwell Collins in Chennai and Bangalore.

That same year, Boeing opened what it called a “center of excellence” with HCL in Chennai, saying the companies would partner “to create software critical for flight test.” In 2011, Boeing named Cyient, then known as Infotech, to a list of its “suppliers of the year” for design, stress analysis and software engineering on the 787 and the 747-8 at another center in Hyderabad.

at the end of the day the buck stops being Boeing

I have made outsourcing decisions on hardware components. the final decision on qualifying them are mine and my organizations
we never blame the component manufacturer for both individual component failures and component design flaws.

It makes you wonder if any of these trolls do any real engineering work
Trying to look professional, aren't you ?
Design flaws are your own but implementation ?

apple outsources manufacturing of iPhones to foxconn
if there is a manufacturing defect nobody will blame foxconn
that is way the industry works
